Dr. Scott Blackhart, DDS graduated Oakdale High in 2001. Scott attended UC Davis for a degree in Biology, followed by Boston University School of Dental Medicine and graduated in 2009. He served as a dentist in the US Navy for 5 years of military service. During that time he was fortunate to be able to serve his country while learning valuable skills and working closely with dental specialists like Oral Surgeons and Endodontists as mentors.
Dr. Blackhart joined our team in September 2014, and he has enjoyed seeing the friendly faces of Oakdale again. He is passionate about dentistry and loves pursuing continuing education courses and anything to improve his ability to provide high quality care for all his patients.

The reason I'm writing this review, (several months after getting a tooth removed), is a friend of mine currently has an aching tooth, and out here in the Bay Area, finding a good dentist that has reasonable prices is like, well, pulling teeth. So I was telling him about the two incredible experiences at had at this dental office in Oakdale, California... Guess what, it is sooo worth driving the 80+ miles to get this quality of dental care that tomorrow morning we're gonna do it; journey out to Oakdale from Hayward, because these people here are that good. Contrast & compare the stark difference experienced in the Bay Area; the continual flack, lack of bedside manners, and generally giving off the air that they do not like their jobs, it's a wonder that NCal Ortho has a customer base at all. I highly recommend Blackheart, Albertoni & Corso dentistry. Quality care at very reasonable prices.

5 stars all the way! Peaceful, calm and professional! So accommodating of cash pay patients, excellent doctors, the hygienist gave me all kinds of freebies along with the usual toothbrush/floss, etc. Recommended highly!

FANTASTIC STAFF!! All are super friendly and make you feel so comfortable! I've always been afraid of going to the dentist as I'm pretty sure many of us are but they really put my anxiety at ease by explaining everything to me before during and after the procedure. Dr Blackheart is a true professional and I can't say enough about Paula. This is the first time I've been to a dentist and came out excited about it. I would recommend to anyone who is hesitant about going to a dentist.

My mom has gone to Blackhart Dentistry for several procedures ranging from general cleaning to a root canal and new crown, and the staff made each visit a very pleasant experience. They are gentle and caring, which is a comfort since my mom has very sensitive teeth. We highly recommend Blackhart Dentistry.

This is a great bunch of people. Dr. Albertoni is a very talented dentist--pain free. All the rest of the crew are friendly and helpful. All in all, it has been a satisfying experience. I wish I had switched dentists long before now. Thank you, Dr. Albertoni. You're the best!

Great service! Friendly and knowledgeable staff. I have been going to Dr. Albertoni for several years. I switched because of my insurance and I'm very happy I did. He was recommended by friends. Now several members of my family go here too.

Dr. Blackhart is very thorough. He explains your dental x-rays and if there is a problem he explains what needs to be done to correct it.
