Dr. Yancy Sipes and his caring and friendly staff are dedicated to providing patients with excellent care. Dr. Sipes spends time getting to know each of his patients, individually assessing and preparing treatment plans based upon each patients needs.

I was born in Concord, California and grew up in small towns (Pine Grove, CA and Sutter Creek, CA) in the Sierra Nevada foothills. I enjoyed growing up with lots of open space to explore and play outdoors. I attended college at Biola University in La Mirada, CA for two years and then graduated from California State University, Sacramento with my B.S. in Biology.

I married my wife, whom I met in high school, just before finishing my undergraduate degree. We then moved to Omaha, Nebraska so I could attend Creighton University School of Dentistry. We bought a small old house and enjoyed renovating it while attending dental school.

After graduation, we decided to move to Seattle area to be closer to family. We settled in to Maple Valley and have enjoyed becoming a part of the community. We love the small town atmosphere in Black Diamond and Maple Valley, as well as the beauty of Western Washington.

I love being a dentist. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people, and the friendships that Ive built with my patients and their families are one in a million. It has always been my focus to make each patient feel at home when they come to me for treatment and I work hard to give my patients the attention they deserve.

By regularly participating in continuing education, I am aware of the latest technology and dental treatments. My patients deserve the best, and continuing education allows me to provide my patients with more options and better results.

I am truly blessed to live and work in such a wonderful community. I enjoy getting to know my patients and their families, and it is such an honor to know that I have made a difference in so many of my patients lives. I couldnt ask for a better job or for better people sharing their smiles with me. I look forward to working with you.

I grew up in Maple Valley, WA and now reside in Enumclaw, WA. I knew as a teenager that I wanted to work in the dental field. I always enjoyed going to my dentist and wanted others to feel comfortable receiving dental care. I was a dental assistant for 17 years and just recently became the front office manager, which I love! Now I get the chance to meet patients financial, insurance, and treatment needs the best that I can. I have worked with Dr. Sipes since 2006, but have been at the practice since 1996. After working in the same place for 18 years, I am happy to say my co-workers and patients are like family.

I was born in the Northwest and grew up in Maple Valley. I attended Renton Technical College where I graduated from the dental assisting program. Im trained in a variety of expanded duties and still attend many hours of continued education outside of work. I currently reside in Covington with my husband and our two boys. I enjoy being involved in the Washington State 4-H Program, and love working with people whether it be at my job or outside of work.

I was born and raised in the PNW and cant see living anywhere else. I graduated the Dental Assisting program while attending Renton Technical College. I enjoy helping patients during their visits. My goal is to make sure they leave with a smile on their face and a feeling that our dental office is a fun place to be. Dr. Hagemeier and Dr. Sipes are both very gentle dentist and who listen to their patients.

I really enjoy helping people achieve a healthy and beautiful smile. Its important patients feel welcome and safe during their visits. I encourage each person to talk about their life, hobbies, and interests. This forms a bond while also giving me insight into areas where they can improve their home dental hygiene routine. While Im cleaning teeth and performing periodontal maintenance, I talk with patients. We discuss their oral health and what they can do to keep their mouth and smile healthy and beautiful.

I love talking with and getting to know our patients and their families. Its a pleasure to build long-term relationships while helping people with their dental needs. I handle our scheduling, accounts, and patient management. I also review treatment plans with patients, explaining whats involved and why Dr. Sipes or Dr. Hagemeier is recommending certain procedures. Additionally, I help our patients with their insurance paperwork and claims, and making financial arrangements.

My first job in a dental office was in 2010, working as a sterilization technician. I then volunteered for the State of Oregon as an assistant while attending college. Once I graduated from dental hygiene school, I moved to Washington where I began my career as a dental hygienist. Helping individuals achieve and maintain optimal oral health, and ultimately promoting a healthier lifestyle, is the best part of my job. As work is my second home, I appreciate being surrounded by such knowledgeable and loving coworkers.

My husband is a personal trainer, who helps me maintain a healthy and active lifestyle. If we aren't at a sporting event, enjoying the PNW outdoors, or at a family function, youll find me reading a book, painting, baking, or gardening.

I've been in the dental field for about 5yrs. I grew up in the Maple Valley and Back Diamond area and enjoy working with people and creating relationships. I enjoy spending my time baking and outside with my dog, Riley. I look forward to meeting our new patients.

Amy is a registered hygienist. She graduated from GRCC in Grand Rapids Michigan in 2015. She moved to Washington state with her husband and daughter in 2018 and has been working at Black Diamond Dentistry ever since. Amy enjoys educating patients and helping them achieve their oral health care goals. When she is not at work Amy enjoys staying active out doors and spending time with friends and family.
