Dr. Kevin Bass is a graduate of Tulane University and Temple University School of Dentistry. He has completed advanced training in the area of cosmetic dentistry at the world-renowned Las Vegas Institute.
Dr. Bass is continually educating himself and his staff on the newest techniques. He has attended extensive continuing education programs in Advanced Anterior Esthetics, Dental Implants, Cosmetic Dentistry, Root Canal Therapy, and Full Porcelain Restorations.
Dr. Kevin Bass is a member of the American Dental Association, Pennsylvania Dental Association, Montgomery Bucks Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, American Endodontic Society and the Suburban Implant Study Club.
Dr. Kevin Bass strives for perfection in all areas of dentistry and is not satisfied until his patients can smile with confidence. He is married with two children and two dogs. He is an avid golfer and music lover.
Dr. Lawrence Black is committed to high-quality dental care. He enjoys getting to know his patients and understands everyone wants different things. Dr. Lawrence Black wants to give his patients all the options, so they can choose what is right for them.
Dr. Lawrence Black graduated from the University of Texas in 1986. He has taken many hundreds of hours of continuing education programs to keep himself and his team at the highest level of patient care. He is a member of The American Dental Association, The Pennsylvania Dental Association, The Montgomery Bucks Dental Society, and The Academy of General Dentistry. He has been practicing in Lansdale since 1989. Dr. Black is married and enjoys working in his organic vegetable garden.

Beth has been a dental hygienist with us for twenty-two years. She graduated from Montgomery County Community College. Since then, shes been a model employee who always looks out for the good of the team and the individual needs of the patients.
Stephanie actually came to work for us while she was still in hygiene school. She worked as a front desk receptionist for two years, while finishing school, after which we took her on as a full-fledged dental hygienist. Shes been doing exceptional work for us ever since.
She completed her hygienist training at Montgomery County Community College. After that, she went to Drexel University to get her bachelor of science. Impressively, she did all this while wrangling quite a few little ones at home. Steph is the mother of six children, the youngest of whom is a brand new addition to their growing family.
Natalie is one of our dental hygienists. She studied dental hygiene at Montgomery County Community College and graduated in 2015. Her friendly attitude turns dental cleanings and treatments into great experiences for each patient who comes through.
Natalies life has been quite the adventure lately, as she recently got married to her husband, Evan. She loves taking him on mini-adventures around town, as they try out all sorts of new places. She also enjoys working out, baking, and cooking.
Joyce has been an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant for us for over twenty-four years, now. Her skills and experience have been invaluable to our office, as well as her sweet and sensitive personality. Shes great at both recognizing and empathizing with the needs of each patient.
There are two things she loves most about working as an EFDA: Getting the chance to watch how the dental industry has changed and grown since she graduated in 1985, and watching her longtime patients grow up to start families of their own.
Sarah brings her warm and friendly personality to our office. Not only that, but her training as an expanded function dental assistant makes her truly invaluable. She can do all of the duties of a dental assistant, and then some. She studied as an EFDA at Harcum College, from which she graduated in 2016.
She isnt just handy in the dental office, either. At home, she enjoys DIY home improvement projects. She also loves to cook, shop, and spend time with her family, which includes her husband Sean, her son Ian, and two English Springer Spaniels, Daisy and Remington.
Sandy keeps us on our toes. A warm environment and quality care are her two priorities. With her around, things in the office stay organized and professional so that you can feel comfortable and confident in your care.
Melissa is a hard worker, through and through. In over fifteen years as our financial coordinator, shes proven that time and again, by her dedication to the job and determination to constantly improve.
Melissa applies that same dedication to her family. Shes been married to Dan for over thirteen years, now. Together they have two daughters: Danielle, who is eleven, and Paige, who is eight. She loves to spend time with her family and friends, especially through travel, but she also likes some good old-fashioned alone time with a book in hand.
Jessica studied as a dental assistant at Delaware Valley Academy of Dental & Medical Assisting. She currently lives in North Wales, Pa, with her family: her husband, one nine-year-old daughter, and one two-year-old black lab.
Stephanie has been one of our receptionists for years. Her degree in business management has come in very handy as she keeps our schedules running smoothly, and helps to guide each patient through their dental experience.
Laura graduated from Lansdale School of Business with a degree in computer applications management. This experience makes her a great receptionist for us. Shes been making our office a better and more organized place for over four years.
Laura leads a rich life outside of the dental office. She loves being outdoors, especially on the beach or in the mountains. If shes there with family and friends, it counts as a perfect day. She also loves traveling, being involved with her church, and watching sports with her dad.
Monica works as our sterilization assistant. Along with monitoring our supplies, she keeps our whole office ship-shape and pristine. Our practice is a comfortable, pleasant environmentboth because she keeps it clean and running right, and because shes in it.

I recently left the practice after 20+ years. The office threatened to turn my account over to "collections" over a $40 unpaid bill after years of no payment issues. Sandy the office manager took my call and laughed as I expressed concern over the threating letter I received. She told me it was not a "real" collections letter. I told her it didn't matter and that I would not be back. No one bothered to reach back out to offer an apology. Not a nice way of doing business when all you care about is money not customer/patient service.

Our family has been going to Black and Bass for 20 years. They have always been very professional, responsive, flexible and kind while providing good care. They explain what they are going to do before they proceed and each staff member works as part of the team in an efficient and consistent way. The office is always clean and the staff is on top of things. We took them for granted until a recent bad experience with an oral surgeon which ended well after Dr. Bass agreed to see us within hours, looked at the problem, calmed my daughter, and set up an appointment with the surgeon the same day. I highly recommend this reliable, compassionate and professional practice.

I was so afraid to go to the dentist but Dr. Bass and his team put me right at ease. The office staff is courteous and friendly. The work on my front teeth is top notch. I no longer feel like a freak when I smile. I highly recommend this dentist. They are the best. I won't go anywhere else!

Paid 500 dollars for a temp tooth. When the tooth was ready it was as defective and after 30 mins in the office they told me that it wasn't right and there is nothing they could do. Manufacturing mistake. This was after weeks of waiting and they refused to refund anything. Very disappointed. Learned not to pay for things up front.

I have been going to Black & Bass dentistry for several years. They have the newest up to date equipment to make your dental visit go smoothly. Beth is a wonderful dental hygienist as well. I highly recommend this practice. Dr. Black is awesome. All of the techs and staff are great too.

I've been going to this company for over 30 years. I love Karen, my hygienist. Dr. Bass has saved me a few trips to an orthodontist. Over the years my teeth moved, and he created an easy to wear appliance that fixed it in about a month. Great group of people!

I have had severe dental anxiety since I was very young due to horrible past experiences and had not been to the dentist in about 26 years. Due to a sudden toothache, it was finally time. Every staff member at this office is kind and compassionate and reassured me over and over that everything would be okay. I was promised by Dr Black that pain was not an option on this day and it truly wasn't. He kept all his promises and has gained my trust. I will never go anywhere else and I am so thankful that my children will never have the same anxiety I once did. This office has helped me to work through my fear and I am so grateful.

They did an amazing job with my veneers. Dr. Bass was very friendly, professional, and took time to answer all my questions. He was dedicated to getting the best results possible. I was very satisfied with my results and would highly recommend Black and Bass.
