Dr. Bivens earned his Bachelor of Science in Microbiology at the University of Florida, where he went on to receive his doctorate degree. He continued his education at the University of Louisville, where he received his Master of Science in Oral Biology and his Specialty Certificate in Orthodontics.
It is extremely important to Dr. Bivens that he stays up-to-date on the latest advances in orthodontics. Every year he greatly exceeds the required amounts of continuing education. He has achieved the highest level of Invisalign education by being a graduate of the Invisalign Masters Program. Like many other things, technology in orthodontics has changed dramatically over the last few years and will continue to do so in the future. Dr. Bivens makes the commitment to his patients to always strive to make treatment more convenient, more comfortable, and faster by continuing to keep up with these changes.
In his time away from the office, Dr. Bivens enjoys playing with his children, fishing, boating, swimming, traveling and snow skiing. Dr. Bivens and his wife Jamie are proud parents of their daughters, Jaida and Siena, and their son, Brett.

Would not be the best orthodontics without the dirty stares from the white blondes and lovely receptionist, such an amazing team Dr. Bivens has. Real facts though, once you get passed them it's an amazing time with P. Jai. She brings the heat with a grand slam dunk on being the hardest and most dedicated worker at this office. Makes every visit an enjoyable one and i leave happy. Thank you P. Jai and Dr. Bivens for spending your time and dedication to make sure I can smile confidently again.

Dr. Bivens is absolutely amazing. The new office in Dunedin is clean, beautiful and so organized. The staff has been so helpful throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend using Bivens if your are looking for an orthodontist. They are extremely kid friendly and are so gentle when working on our child.

I can't say enough good things about Bivens Dunedin location. The staff is second to none which is indicative of great Management. Their professionalism is outstanding and they keep our family at ease on each visit. Taylor Huff recommended Bivens years ago and we'll never go elsewhere.

My son has been going to Dr. Bivens for the past year for Invisalign. We moved from Westchase to Dunedin and decided to start going to his office in Dunedin because it was more convenient for us. I would have to say, Dr. Bivens' new Ortho office in Dunedin is fantastic! It's ran by the same team as his Westchase office, so we were well taken care of. Cleanliness and great service is what's most important to me and this office did not disappoint. Not to mention, my son finished his Invisalign today and we couldn't be happier! His teeth are GORGEOUS!! From start to finish, Dr. Bivens and his team are top-notch!!
