Dr. Karin Bittner has been practicing dentistry more than 40 years. After receiving her undergraduate degree from Albright College, she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree with honors from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dentistry in 1975.
Dr. Bittner is committed to continuing education and takes many advanced courses each year to enhance her skills to better serve the dental care needs of her patients and provide them with a gentle and comfortable dental experience.
She received her undergraduate degree from Miami University and her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 2014. She won the Gilbert N. Robin Continuing Education Award in recognition of dedication to continued professional excellence.

Simply the BEST! I avoided going to the dentist for years due to a bad experience. I decided to try Bittner King Dental and every single person there is absolutely wonderful. You will be treated with the utmost care and respect. My husband and sister are also patients there now and they both like them as much as I do. I have and would highly recommend then to everyone! If you want caring, honest, and gentle dentistry give them a try!

Dr. Alison King and Dr. Karin Bittner are AMAZINGLY TALENTED dentists! I would 110% recommend this mother/daughter team to anyone looking for a dentist for yourself and the whole family. My husband and I looked and tried out a couple of other dental practices in the Fox Chapel area but none of them were great. Thank goodness we found Bittner King Dental. Not only are Dr. King and Dr. Bittner the NICEST dentists but they are also literally THE BEST dentists I have ever had (and I have a host of dental issues so I see dentist quite a bit : ) Highly HIGHLY recommend - 6 stars! I have never had my teeth cleaned by a dentist ! it has always been a hygienist and it usually takes more than a half an hour. Not sure that my teeth were clean as well as they should be?

My kids love this dental place. The dentists and the front desk are so friendly and kind. They have toys and books in the waiting area. And they have gifts after the visit. They have a beautiful treasure box that makes things even more exciting.

What a pleasure to meet Dr. Karin Bittner. She is welcoming and warm while also being expert and efficient. I can't remember a dentist took the time to so thoroughly clean and examine my teeth. Full imaging was reassuring. She and the accompanying hygienist, along with the light and open space of the Fox Chapel office, will guarantee that I'll be back regularly.
