Bitterroot Valley Dental Care is a Stevensville-based family dentist practice that treats patients of all ages. We are committed to delivering the highest quality dental care and do so using advanced dental equipment. We are a cosmetic dentist that offers services like checkups, teeth cleaning, crowns, veneers and more.
Dr. Eric A. Myers, D.D.S., has been practicing family dentistry for over twenty years. He graduated from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco at the age of twenty four. He holds a Bachelor of Science in biology from University of the Pacific, in Stockton, California. Dr. Myers completed both degrees in six years due to being accepted into the accelerated doctorate education program.
After years of searching for the right Montana dental practice, Dr. Myers decided to make the town of Stevensville, in the Bitterroot Valley, his home. In March 2020, Dr. Myers took ownership of Bitterroot Valley Dental Care. He comes to Stevensville from Albuquerque, New Mexico, where he owned a successful practice with two office locations and practiced dentistry for the past eighteen years. Prior to that, Dr. Myers worked in private practice in California.
In addition to general dentistry, Dr. Myers is proficient in many areas of oral surgery (including removal of impacted wisdom teeth), endodontics (root canals), and oral sedation. He desires to help people when emergencies arise and has the skills to do so.
Dr. Myers believes strongly in providing his patients with the same level of care he would choose for himself. He provides dental care that is comfortable in a peaceful environment to all ages. Since acquiring the practice, Dr. Myers has updated his facility with nitrous oxide and 3D X-ray (Cone Beam Computed Tomography) to provide the best care possible to existing patients and new patients.
Dr. Myers moved to Stevensville with his wife, Katherine, and their three children, Alexandria, Harrison and Conrad. He and his wife desired a safer place to raise their children and to spend time in nature and found Stevensville and the Bitterroot Valley to be just what they had been seeking. They have a full house when you add in their beloved Wheaten Terrier, rescue rabbit and Dr. Myers childhood pet turtle. When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Myers can be found fly fishing, hiking, hunting and spending time with his family enjoying the peacefulness and integrity of Stevensville and the surrounding area. Dr. Myers and his family feel very blessed to call Stevensville home and appreciate the friendliness of the community.

Our daughter had to have a root canal and dr Eric Myers and his staff were fabulous. She struggled a bit with anxiety and they treated her wonderfully throughout the procedure. 5 stars from me, highly recommend, and we'll be going back to him again for any of our dental work. Very comfortable and professional office and people.

I am so thankful to Dr. Myers and the entire staff at Bitterroot valley dental. I had to have teeth pulled for an emergency and I was terrified. They were so kind and wonderful. From the front desk to every person in there. They were so great. They made an experience that could have been awful so wonderful. I have had barely any pain and Dr. Myers was so quick I couldn't even believe he was already finished. I would recommend this dental office to everyone. They are wonderful.

Dr. Myers is amazing. He made a next day emergency appointment for me. And within minutes of being in his office and talking with him and his staff I lost all my dr office anxiety. Made me feel comfortable and the procedure was quick and painless.i can't thank him enough. I found my family dentist, thank you to Dr. Myers and his staff.

I found this office through Joel the dental assistant there. Ended up being a wonderful experience. Now my whole family are patients there. Dr Myers is wonderful and even called me the next day after my appointment. I'm so glad he moved to the Valley. I recommend him to everyone!!!!!

Everyone is so nice and helpful. Dr Myers is so thoughtful, professional and caring . Had an emergency with broken tooth got me in within 30min. Called the next day to see how I was doing. Highly recommend.

I contacted 8 dentists with an emergency. Dr. Meyer's office told me to come right in. I found him to be kind and very skilled . His office staff were wonderful! Friendly and helpfully. I never felt rushed. I will recommend this Dentist to everyone

Bitterroot Valley Dental is now my family's dental care provider. Dr. Myers and his staff are professional, courteous and family oriented. Dr. Myers is very present with you and follows up over the phone after visits. I believe he and his staff care about every single patient and take pride in the dental work they provide. After having two root canals and an emergency dental visit, I rest assured my teeth are good hands. Dr. Myers got me painlessly out the door and back on the river in no time. Dr. Myers and his staff were so accommodating and professional with my emergencies and regular cleaning/work. They found a way for me to come in same day when I was in a lot of pain and needed immediate relief and educated me through the process so I knew how they would help me immediately and over the next few weeks. Dr. Myers did a great job on my tooth chip and root canal (yes, I had a LOT going on!), and he and the hygienists were all very gentle. I definitely recommend them!
