Dr. Birva Joshi Jones is very passionate about her work and is focused on giving her patients 'comprehensive, ethical dentistry.' Dr. Jones grew up in Southern California and went to an accelerated program after high school to Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. At Creighton University, Dr. Jones received her B.S. and D.D.S. degrees. Dr. Jones has been in the dental field for over twelve years and has taken extensive continuing education courses to gain better patient satisfaction. Dr. Jones takes pride in learning the latest and most advanced procedures in dentistry. Dr. Jones has also completed a one-year, AAID Maxi course program, which is a comprehensive training program in implant dentistry which typically provides300 or more hoursof lecture, laboratory sessions, live surgical demonstrations and home/office assignments.
Dr. Jones is also very active in the community. Dr. Jones as served as a board member, as an area-representative, in the local dental society. Recently, Dr. Jones became a member of the Peer Review Committee for the local chapter. Dr. Jones has volunteered multiple years in the 'Give Kids a Smile' program as well.
Dr. Jones is an active member of the following organizations: American Dental Association; California Dental Association; West Los Angeles Dental Society; Indian Dental Association; American Academy of Implant Dentistry. If I could give a 0 I would. There are so many problems. From the very beginning. Reading other who gone threw the same thing. So Dr B.Jones is consistent. Like someone else didn't want to take us (family)after she was Assigned. I had to make lots of phone calls had to have my insurance company faxed them not once but four times. Every time I make an appointment it gets cancels. Not just me, my daughter and my son. So 6 to 7 times. She changes the days she works. Only works 2 days but tells insurance she Mon-Fri. I had work done and I had to go back 2 times. Now I'm wondering if it was even necessary from reviews I have read. I would strongly recommend to anyone to finding another dentist before going to this one.

To the patients considering going to Birva Joshi DDS, I am here to tell you that these penny pinching "Dental Staff" are not concerned with anyone's oral health whatsoever when it comes to treating new patients. If anything it seems their top priority is deflecting affordable insurance for California residents in hopes of finding potential goldmines. Not only did this Dental group lie to my face about not taking my insurance, when I had told them I had spoken with my insurance in advanced and confirmed it was their dental group. They continued to just tell me they won't take me. And based on the reviews, it seems like when they get a "good patient"(has money laying around), they take advantage with deep cleaning and root canals! So stay away from here if you care about your money, your time, and most importantly your oral health!

I have been going to Dr. Jones Office for my dental cleanings and needs for more than a year now. Everytime I have been there they have been extremely friendly. Their work is thorough and the pricing and insurance is transparent up front. Thank you Lina, Arianna, Dr. Jones, and the rest of the staff for your excellent and caring work!

Superb clinic and Dr.Birva Jones is brilliant dentist! I've had multiple work done over the last year or so (cavities, root canal etc.) and every experience has been great. Staff are professional and the clinic has good equipment and hygiene standards.

I highly recommend Dr. Birva Jones. She did a crown on my tooth #18, posterior molar. The anesthesia was completely painless and she informed me what to expect in advance. I am very impressed with her abilities and her gentleness. Thank you Dr. Jones for great work.

Beware of this practice! Went in for a regular check up and a cleaning as a first time patient. After examining my teeth and gums, said I would need a "deep" cleaning. Assistant then took me into a private office to explain the charges, which totaled around$1,200- for a cleaning! Insurance would cover approx $725, leaving me with $475- again for a cleaning! I politely said, I just want a regular cleaning that is typically fully covered by my policy. She refused and said we can only perform what is recommended. What??!! I was completely floored. Ridiculous!! Obviously, never going back there, as their only interest is to hustle their patients out of their hard earned money. Beware!

When I went in for routine cleaning, as I checked in, I was told I needed a "medical irrigation." I didn't want to add this cost to my insurance covered cleaning, so left and wrote an email to Dr. Jones. She attributed my experience to a misunderstanding with office staff, and encouraged me to return for the cleaning without the extra service. I appreciate her attention to my needs, but I wish I had been able to have my cleaning as scheduled!

I am so happy to have found Dr. Birva Joshi Jones! She is amazing. I had serious problems with my teeth and wanted a Dentist that would not berate me, only help me, and that is exactly what I found in her. She was very straightforward and honest with what needed to be done, we agreed on a strategy and she was thorough,careful and sincere in her work on my teeth. Her and her assistant spent more than 3 hours on me in my first session working deligently. My follow up appointment went great, and now my teeth are healthy and they look great. I look forward to my future cleanings and further work to be done, i.e. replace old fillings and teeth whitening. Thank you Dr. Joshi Jones you are the best!!!

Dr Birva and her staff are very friendly, professional, and reliable. You can ask her anything and the wait time is never long. I have also scheduled last minute appointments and she was able to see me with no problem.
