Dr. Jayson Bird was born and raised in Shelley, Idaho.He graduated from Shelley High school where he was a state champion in 3 sports, which earned him a football scholarship to the University of Idaho. Jayson graduated with a Bachelor of Science in biology in 2008.

After graduating from the University of Idaho, Jayson entered and graduated from Creighton University dental school in 2013, where he earned honors of Magna Cum Laude. Dr. Bird practiced dentistry in north Idaho for five years where he grew his practice with a central focus on genuine patient care.

In 2018, Dr. Bird decided he wanted to move to Idaho Falls where he could be closer to family. Dr. Bird joined Dr. Brent Simpson in 2018 and then Dr. Michael Tall a little later in the year with hopes to combine the two practices and let Drs. Simpson and Tall pursue new passions in life. The result Bird Family Dental in Idaho Falls!

In his practice, Dr. Bird emphasizes optimal, straight forward care for his patients enabling them to achieve and maintain confidence in their smile. His utilization of the best, up to date dental technology, such as CEREC Same-Day Crowns and Cone Beam 3D X rays reflects his desire to best serve his patients.

Keeping up with the fast pace of dentistry, Dr. Bird is also active in his professional affiliations and continues to attend dental seminars to stay current with the latest modifications with CEREC crowns as well as other implant and cosmetic techniques. In fact, his specialty with implants has earned him the Excellence in Implant Placement award from the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID).

Allison was born and raised in Idaho Falls and has been in the dental field since 1994 when she graduated from Bonneville High School. She immediately began her career as a dental assistant learning through on-the-job training. She later earned her dental assistant certificate from East Idaho Technical College before she transitioned from dental assistant to office administration. As the office manager of Bird Family Dental, she utilizes her years of experience to keep the fast paced office running smoothly. She enjoys everyone in the office and especially enjoys her interactions with patients. When she is away from the office, Allison loves spending time in the outdoors with her husband, Rob, and their son and daughter. They love to camp, kayak and if there is a motor involved, they love to ride in the summer and winter (4-wheeler/snowmobile)!

After graduating from Idaho Falls High School, Tiffany studied and earned her associates degree in marketing and business management from Eastern Idaho Technical College. In 2012, Tiffany joined the American Association of Dental Office Managers where continues her education in dental office operations with the goal to achieve Master Status in the association. Since 2006, Tiffany worked for Dr. Michael Tall until he retired and Dr. Bird arrived. She enjoys the long-time relationships she has developed with so many patients and also enjoys getting to know new ones. It makes Tiffany happy to see patients who are happy about their dental care and their smile. Tiffany married her high-school sweetheart, Terry, and they have four children and six grandchildren. She loves spending time with her family camping and having fun with photography.

Heather was born in Powell, Wyoming and raised in both Idaho and California. She attended Brigham Young University for two years and later transferred to Idaho State University where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene in 2005. Heather is excited to work with the modern technology at Bird Family Dental and with a professional team of caring individuals. To her, patients feel like family and she loves being a part of their lives, building relationships and providing the best possible dental treatment with Dr. Bird. Heather has two girls, two boys and two dogs. She enjoys hiking, scuba diving, traveling, cuddling up with a good book and quiet evenings at home with her children.

Laura attended Idaho State University where she earned her Bachelor of Dental Sciences degree in 1995. She worked for Dr. Michael Tall from September 2000 until he retired in 2018. She is excited to now work with Dr. Jayson Bird and feels like she learns something new from him every day. Laura loves being a dental hygienist and helping patients have a healthy mouth and keep their teeth for a lifetime. She considers her patients a part of her family and she cherishes the relationships. Laura has two children, one boy and one girl, who are her pride and joy! She loves the outdoors where she can camp, kayak, and enjoy reading real books (non-digital).

Brooke has been a dental assistant since 2003 beginning her career with Dr. Michael Tall. Her passion for dentistry overflows with the opportunity to meet people and create new friendships. She loves being a part of the transformation of improved smiles for Bird Family Dental patients. Brooke is married to an amazing husband and they have two kids, Kennedy and Jaxson. When she is not working with smiles in the dental office, she is either in a gym, baseball/softball field or being involved with a variety of sports. Her entire family is very involved with sports and they LOVE it.

Lori graduated from Ricks College where she earned a degree in elementary education and received her dental assistant certificate through Weber State University. She has worked in the dental field since 1983 in Utah, Las Vegas, Denver and in Idaho Falls since 1998. In Idaho Falls, Lori worked for Dr. Brent Simpson until he retired. Lori enjoys working at Bird Family Dental where she can work with new and long-time patients where she can be a part of the creation of beautiful smiles with Dr. Bird. Lori is married to her sweetheart, David, and they share four daughters, eight grandchildren with more on the way. Lori loves the outdoors and can be found camping, boating and taking vacations with her family. She loves spending her time with her grandchildren.
