Dr. Alberto M Bird was born in Madrid, Spain and raised in Puerto Rico where he graduated in 1983 with a dental degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Dental Medicine. After years of private practice as a general dentist he pursued his dreams of specializing in Periodontics. In 1998, he graduated from Boston University Goldman School of Dentistry where he also completed a Master in Science degree.
In 1998 he moved to Florida with his family. He established his practice of Periodontics and Implant Dentistry in Largo, Fl. Dr. Bird has a passion for dentistry and he enjoys meeting his patients and offering them a variety of treatment options to help them improve their health condition. His experience as a general dentist for manyyears offers him the advantage to provide patients with a comprehensive view of their condition and alternatives to treatment.
When he is not working with teeth, Dr. Bird is in the water; kayaking, kite surfing, boating, fishing or scuba diving. He enjoys the outdoors, traveling, baseball and football games, and is a great cook!
A native of St. Petersburg, Florida, Jennifer graduated with honors from the St. Petersburg College School of Dental Hygiene in 1983. Most of her career since 1985 has been dedicated to this practice. Her professionalism and diligence combined with her enthusiastic character are the main reasons our patients appreciate her. Jennifer is an experienced and reliable member of our Team always providing the best service.
Christy is a native to the Sunshine State. Born in Sarasota, Fl and raised in Pinellas County. She graduated from Condcorde Career Institute in Tampa, earning her Dental Assistant Certificate with expanded functions. She has been practicing her career for 10 years and looks forward to continuing her work and contributing to new patient relationships and experiences in the years to come. Her goal is to help educate our patients while making them feel at home. Her devoted passion to her career makes her an asset to our practice and support our philosophy to provide our patients with above standard dental service.

Dr. Bird and all his staff are excellent. My regular dentist referred him when he saw that my teeth were in pretty bad shape. Over the course of a year we had everything looking so much better and I continue to follow his instructions to keep them healthy. They say it all starts with your teeth. If they are healthy then your body can be. My hygienist Jennifer is terrific. I'm undergoing getting an implant and have complete confidence in Dr. Bird. Highly recommend him *****

I share some of the good reviews and believe Dr Bird is a very bright and is professional. While I seek a talented doctor I cannot agree that a tooth extraction is a painless procedure. For me a compassionate approach is a must. No need to be uncomfortable during and after procedure. For me the sedative Halcion is an unwelcoming approach to have a tooth extraction.

Dr. Bird is the best. He has replaced two of my teeth with implants. The extractions were painless. He is very thorough, patient and talented. His entire staff is caring and professional as well. I highly recommend him!

I was referred to their office from my dentist for gum disease. I just finished the last of my deep cleanings and look forward to a healthier teeth and gums. Dr. Bird and his staff; especially Jennifer S., fully explained what work was being done, what to expect and were always concerned with the patients comfort and well being.

Have been using Dr. Bird for over two years and I am always amazed at the quality of care I receive there. His office staff and his medical assistants could not be nicer. Dr. Bird and his whole staff are efficient, professional and highly experienced. Would highly recommend them to anyone needing their services. Don't know what I would have done without them.
