In October 2020, due to unforeseen circumstances with the COVID 19 pandemic and other business concerns, Birchwood Dental of Minneapolis was permanently closed. Dr. Dan and Dr. John Evenson, partners in the Minneapolis practice, have personally selected Drs. Cole Brenny and Bradford Morse of the Ivory Dental Group, located on the fifth floor of the Medical Arts Building, to continue caring for our Minneapolis patients. Dr. Carlson received his BA from the University of St. Thomas in 1993 - where he also excelled on the basketball court playing varsity basketballfor the Tommies. In 1998 he received his DDS degree from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. Dr. Carlson has been practicing locally for over 20years andhas beenvoted one of Mpls-St. Paul Magazines top dentists forthe last 15years. You can find Dr. Dan in our Eagan location Tuesday through Friday.
Dr. Evenson received his BA from Luther College in 1993. In 1998 he received his DDS degree from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry.Dr. Evenson has been practicing in Houston, Minnesota for over 20years.
Dr. Micek received his BS in Biochemistry, magna cum laude, from the University of St. Thomas, after which he worked at 3M in the Drug Delivery Systems Division. Dr. Micek graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 2012 and has been practicing in the Twin Cities since.

They really go above and beyond. Love these folks. I live at the other end of town but it is worth the trip.

I have been a patient of Birchwood for three years now and have experienced nothing but the best people and best care. Dentists are all great, hygienists are extremely skilled. Jenna has never steered me wrong!

I am new to the area and hadn't been to the dentist for a while, so I knew I needed to find one. I hate the chain dental places so I was looking more for a private practice. Birchwood dental has exceeded my expectations. Everyone is friendly and very knowledgeable. They even called me and told me that I could come in early because they were running AHEAD of schedule. When do you ever hear that from a dental/medical office??? It was great!

Excellent clinic with friendly knowledgeable and professional staff. I'm happy I came to a dentist owned practice instead of one of the dental chains where you're just a number. Teeth feel squeaky clean!

My experience with Alex Micek and the whole team at Birchwood Dental in Eagan has been nothing short of excellent. They strive for quality and customer satisfaction, are incredibly flexible and very easy to work with. The office is very clean and refreshing, equipment and technology are brand new and the office is very easy to find. My whole family goes to Birchwood Dental, we wouldn't think of going anywhere else.
