Dr. Erik Molby joined our practice in 2018 and he comes to us with 20 years of experience in all phases of general dentistry. He graduated from the University of Kentucky in 1996 and has been practicing in Ludington, MI for the past 9 years.

He is a member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, Resort District Dental Society, and the Chicago Dental Society. He is originally from Alden and is now residing in Kingsley to be closer to his family. He enjoys spending time with his wife and three children and participates in outdoor activities.

Hello! Im Dr. Hanna Cho. I was born in Seoul, South Korea and came to the United States when I was 4 years old. I grew up in Milwaukee Wisconsin, the land of cheese and beer. I left Wisconsin to attend Lehigh University in Pennsylvania for my undergraduate degree, and then I came back to Milwaukee to attend dental school at Marquette University, where I met my husband, Dr. Jake! I am so excited to have moved to this area, and I am excited to help take care of the dental needs in the Kalkaska Community. I am very thankful to have this opportunity under the mentorship of my father-in-law, Dr. Soenen. If you would like to know what I get excited about, just ask me about travel, dance, food, or dogs some time!

Hello! This is Dr. Jacob Soenen. I grew up on Torch Lake. I am the youngest of three brothers, and I had a very active upbringing. Water sports, hockey, snow skiing, we were never lacking for something to do. My father, Dr. Dan Soenen was the ringleader. Many of you know how active he is. My brothers and I will often attempt to keep up. Over the years I found that education is something I really enjoy. The love for learning has never grown old for me. I attended NMC in Traverse city, Albion College, and Marquette University for my dental education. Im excited to begin my career in dentistry, restoring and keeping patients in good dental health will be a pleasure for me. Im very thankful that I get to have a great mentor in my father who will be a tremendous resource with dentistry. Im also newly married to my lovely wife, Dr. Hanna Cho who has also joined Birch Street Dental, and we both are very much looking forward to serving the Kalkaska community

I was born and raised in lower Michigan near Detroit and moved to Kalkaska at the age of 10. I graduated from Kalkaska High School and became Birch Street Dental Cares first employee in 1980. My biggest highlight over nearly the last four decades has been getting to know our patients and their families. Some have become very close friends of mine. I feel very fortunate to work with amazing doctors and a team of professional co-workers. Our specialty is to not hurt our patients! We strive to make each patients dental experience positive and comfortable. I married my high school sweetheart, Todd. We have two grown married children, Kyle and Kevin as well as two beautiful granddaughters, Kylee and McKenna. In my free time I enjoy spending time outdoors, camping and traveling with my family and my dog, Dewey. I welcome you to Birch Street Dental Care!

Hello, Im Haley! I was born and raised in McBain, MI and currently reside in the Cadillac area. I studied dental hygiene at Ferris State University in Big Rapids, MI and graduated in 2004. I have been blessed enough to use my dental hygiene degree in many exciting ways since starting my career in the dental field in 2004. I was hired into Birch Street Dental Care in 2012 and quickly realized that it would become my dental home! I enjoy my job and my co-workers and I am proud of how we all work together as a team to give our patients the best dental experience possible. In my spare time I love spending time with my husband, Chad, and our son, Layn. I also enjoy camping with family, hiking, photography, pilates, traveling to new places, and trying new foods!

Hi guys, Im Abbey! I was born and raised in Fredric, MI and I currently live there with my husband and two children (who really keep me on my toes!). Hi, Im Cheryl! I was born and raised in Roger City, MI. After I graduated from high school I moved to Traverse City, MI where I attended Northwestern Michigan College. I graduated with an associates degree in dental assisting. I worked for an oral surgeon for five years before I moved to Grand Rapids, MI to pursue a degree in dental hygiene. I am lucky enough that 24 years later I am working 1 days as a dental assistant/ anesthetist and 3 days a week as a hygienist. I am blessed to have two children. My son Gunnar, who is married, and my daughter Ayla, who is in high school and keeps me very busy with her travel softball, cheerleading, and golf.

My name is Lindsey, I was born and raised in south eastern lower Michigan. I was blessed enough to be able to move North seven years ago. I have been working in the dental field for 21 years. I started a Birch Street Dental Care in May of 2017. My husband Matt and I enjoy camping, snowmobiling, and entertaining our dog Journey.

Hi, Im Samantha! I was born and raised right here in northern Michigan. I graduated from Forest Area High School in 2005. In 2008, I joined the Army Reserve and served eight years with the 182nd Transportation Company located in Traverse City. I attended Northwestern Michigan College and graduated with a dental assisting degree in 2011. I have been a part of the Birch Street Dental Care team since 2014. My favorite thing about working in this office is the team that I work with and the patients I get to help every day! When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family, going four-wheeling, riding ATVs, fishing, spending time outdoors, and spending time with my two dogs!

Hello, my name is Kendra! I lived in Kalkaska for 23 years before my recent move to Florida. I lived there for a year and it just wasnt the same, so we decided to move back to Kalkaska. Whos we you may ask? Well, I decided to marry my best friend Cole on October 19, 2019. We have three beautiful German Shephards. Some weekends we enjoy spending time with our families and some weekends we just enjoy staying home to cuddle up with our fur babies and watch television. Our favorite shows are Live PD and Top dog! Hello, Im Cassie. I was raised in a small town in the U.P. called Germfask and graduated from Manistique Area Schools in 2001. I moved to Kalkaska in 2002 for my first big city job in Traverse City. I married my husband Dan in 2007 and we started our family right away. We have 2 beautiful kiddos, Hunter and Hannah, a fur baby Piper and 2 guinea pigs! We love to be outside no matter the season to enjoy hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, camping and ORVing. I started here at Birch Street Dental in September 2020 and it has been an adventure so far. Hi, Im Tiffany! I grew up here in beautiful Northern Michigan where I was forced to like the cold! After graduating from Central Michigan University I moved to Vail, Colorado. I was fortunate to live in colorful Colorado for over 10 years. Over those years I enjoyed skiing, rafting and playing in the great outdoors! One of my favorite things about Colorado was meeting many wonderful people from all over the world! One of those people being my best friend and now husband, Daniel. We decided to move to Michigan last summer to be closer to family and start our lives together with our amazing pup, Merle! Hello! My name is Sarah and I'm a hygienist here at BSDC. I am from Lake City but have spent the last 6 years in Grand Rapids which is where I attended Dental Hygiene school. I decided I missed the quiet, small-town life so I moved back up and I'm so thankful I did. I have 2 beautiful Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mixes and two cats as well. I enjoy being outside no matter the weather but my favorite thing to do is to go camping with family and friends. My favorite place to camp is on Beaver Island, because who doesn't love swimming in Lake Michigan?!
