Dental Hygienist Melissa completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Health Administration and graduated from SLCC with her degree in dental hygiene in 2002. She taught dental hygiene for five years, and in 2019 joined our team here at Birch Creek Dental. Melissa loves being part of a practice that is like a family and where she is respected as a healthcare professional. She is dedicated to improving the health of our patients one smile at a time.

I had to change my cleaning appointment because I work out of town and it's a 5 month wait! I've never heard of a 5 month wait for an established patient routine cleaning appointment. It kind of defeats the purpose of being established. The dentist and the hygienists are great! I've been seen at this practice for my routine cleanings, wisdom teeth removal, as well as add ons such as teeth whitening. The last time I was in the practice the receptionist was not very friendly, and on the phone with this instance she was extremely dismissive and honestly, rude. I have excellent insurance as well as always paying my bill in a timely manner. I don't understand how it can take 5 months to get in for a simple cleaning and check up. That seems excessive and really, bad practice.
