Prevention and Oral Health Maintenance At Bingham Farms Family Dentistry, we believe preventative dental care and maintenance is vital to your dental health. Through regular scheduled exams we check the overall health of your teeth and gums, perform oral cancer screenings, and perform x-rays to detect problems before they worsen. Routine dental cleanings, sealants, and fluoride treatments help prevent cavities and dental disease. We review your medical history to assess your overall health and identify any illnesses that may have an impact on your dental health.

Dr. Ro (as his patients call him) is a graduate of the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry 2006. He also has a Bachelor of Science from Michigan State University. Born in Sterling Heights, Dr. Ro now resides in Birmingham with his wife Purvi and their 3 children 8 year old daughter Iniya, 5 year old son Nishil, and their 3 year old daughter Keya. Dr. Ro enjoys seeing patients of all ages, and has attended numerous continuing education courses ranging from Invisalign clear orthodontics to sedation dentistry. He believes in educating each of his patients and always taking the time to listen to their concerns. In his spare time he enjoys BBQing (summer and winter), exercising and spending time with his family. He also is very passionate about all four of our local sports teams. He is both a member of the Michigan Dental Association and American Dental Association.

Dr. Purvi is a graduate of the University of Michigan School of Dentistry 2007. She has a Bachelor of Science from Washington University in St Louis. Purvi was born in Toledo, but spent most of her teenage years in Yuma and Rio Rico, Arizona. Dr. Purvi especially loves seeing children and has countless continuing education hours in pediatric care. She loves being a mom to their three children and you may find them curiously roaming the office at times. In her free time, Dr Purvi enjoys working out, volunteering at the kids school, and reading. You will always find Dr.Purvi to have an upbeat and positive attitude.

Ashley was a Dental Assistant for 2 1/2 years before becoming a Dental Hygienist. She then realized she wanted to further her education and help educate people about their oral health. She graduated with Honors at Oakland Community College in 2015 with an Associates Degree in Applied Science of Dental Hygiene. Ashley takes great pride in patient care and helping patients understand how oral health affects the overall health of your body. Her favorite part of working at Bingham Farms Family Dentistry is getting to know the patients and build relationships with them. When not at the office, Ashley enjoys spending time with her husband and son. She loves to travel and is always planning her next getaway!
