She attended Appalachian State University for undergrad, then went to Dental School at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. At Chapel Hill, she pursued her dream of dentistry and met her future husband, Jeremy.
Dr. Wessinger and her husband, Jeremy, have chosen to call the Asheville area home! They have a precious daughter, Karsen. She is a fun-loving girl who never lets her parents get bored! In 2014, they welcomed a son, Finn. He is always happy and loves to eat!
Dr. Wessinger also has a furry kid, her Siberian Huskie Kona. Dr. Wessinger and her family love to spend time traveling, watching Disney movies, supporting local charitable events, and exploring the outdoor majesty of the area. Dr. Wessinger is excited to welcome everyone to be part of her office family!
Tanya first fell in love with dentistry while working for an Orthodontist after graduating from High School. She then became a dental assistant in Washington D.C. and decided to pursue her dream of becoming a dentist. Dr. Williams graduated from the University of Florida School of Dentistry in 1992, after which she entered the US Army Dental Corps as a Captain stationed at Fort Bliss, Texas. Following this, she returned to Florida to work for the Department of Corrections. In 1998 she obtained a mini-residency in Pediatric Dentistry.
She regularly attends Dental Continuing Education courses to expand her knowledge and improve her skills so that she can better serve her patients and the community. Her passion is to provide a comfortable and painless experience for each and every patient.
Dr. Amanda has always considered the Appalachian Mountains home. She grew up in a small town in Southwest Virginia about 2.5 hours north of Asheville. After graduating summa cum laude from the University of Virginia's College at Wise in 2008 with a bachelor's degree in biology, she received her DDS from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2012.
She has since practiced 2 years in public health dentistry in rural Virginia, spent time in private practice in both Virginia and North Carolina, as well as taught dental, dental hygiene, and dental assisting students at local clinics and community college programs. Amanda is a member of the American Dental Association, the North Carolina Dental Socitey, and the Buncombe County Dental Society.
In her free time, Amanda enjoys spending time with her husband and pets as well as cooking, pottery, music, and any outdoor activity. She has been in Asheville for 3 years, has loved exploring the area, and could not think of a better place to call home.
Alexgrew up on the Tennessee side of the Appalachian Mountains in Knoxville. He attended the University of Tennessee and graduated with a degree in microbiology. After undergraduate studies, he attended The University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in Memphis.Alexhas practiced dentistry in many types of environments, from a federal corrections institute to private practice. He is a member of the American Dental Association and frequently attends continuing education to keep up with the latest advancements in the field.

The best dental office i've ever been too! I went in today to get some work done, & i had to bring my 5 month old with me. & the second she started getting fussy, the front desk lady came & helped me out with her. they're the nicest people & do a great job. i recommend them to everyone!! wish i could remember the front desk ladies name, she needs a raise!!

I missed a couple appointments and was placed on the cancelation list. They were quick to get me re-booked. The staff are nice enough and I got 3 cavities taken care of in under an hour.

This place is the best awesome dentist office I have been to such friendly staff they make you feel well and very comfortable doctor Leslie is in my opinion the best awesome fantastical dentist she has done such amazing work for my teeth is is so amazing and absolutely the nicest dentist you will ever meet if I could I give them 20 stars what a wonderful place

If you have EDS, go here and schedule with Candice the hygienist. She knew how to help me as soon as I walked in and even taught me some things about EDS patients having gum issues. When it was time for Dr. Hill to come in Candice explained my EDS to him and advocated for me as a patient (regardless Dr. Hill was great too) and it was so nice to leave feeling heard, validated and not being shamed for my dental health. Highly recommend!

This review is for CANDACE, a dental hygienist at this office. Candace went above and beyond during my cleaning. She really took her time with me and explained how to best care for my teeth, including offering some great recommendations for products and ways to floss/clean my teeth. I never felt rushed and she took the time to address some of my questions and concerns. I've never received such a thorough cleaning in my life but it was exactly the type of experience I would've wished for! I've had a cleaning there before and it felt different. The dentist who came in to see me today for a quick second was also extremely rushed and made me feel like I was burdening him. If Candice hadn't been the one cleaning my teeth today, I would've had a completely different experience. I felt so well taken care of by Candace that it didn't bother me as much that other people were rushing. The front desk lady today was also amazing and I've always had pleasant experiences with every front desk worker I've talked to!

First off, big time shout out to Raine, Emma, Dr. Leslie, Dr. Hill and Sarah, all with Biltmore family dentistry. I was in tears for weeks trying to find any dentist that would accept Medicaid or even let me pay out of pocket for a couple extractions, I was very unsuccessful and available appointments were at least 2 months away. I was ready to hit the whiskey and let someone just go pirate style one and just knock the teeth right out. Then, Raine called and was a savior. She had me in the office two days later and the extractions only two days after that. It was literally immediate relief, and all was covered with my Medicaid. Offices were spotless and very cozy and welcoming. I was treated with the highest standard of care and hospitality. I also now have a permanent dentist, who I completely trust and feel extremely safe in her care. Raine takes such great care of everyone I've seen her have encounters with. It's not at all easy to find that many good attributes and amazing qualities in one office. I am overly grateful and will continue to recommend these teeth super heroes! Much love and thank you, all, for EVERYTHING!!!

I scheduled a new patient appointment and was put on the schedule less than 24 hours notice and when I tried to reschedule cause of sickness they will no longer take me as a patient due to not giving them at 24 hr notice? I didn't have the opportunity and got sick that night. It's ridiculous and especially hard due to being on Medicaid to find a new dentist. They didn't tell me when scheduling this either. Beware

They are the best very gentle extremely hard to find.. The issue I'm having is I can't make a appointment all the way out , I have to call daily, I was told about a policy they have were if you miss appointments you have to call daily , I understand there policy, but I have chronic illnesses and spoke to someone about my situation and asked if I should get a note from my primary Dr at that time she said no it was OK, now today I was told again about their policy and I explained my situation and asked about a note that I can bring in from my Dr and she said yes but at this point the rest of the call was a little like she had to get off the phone she said that the letter had to be emailed and said thank you and hung up...I was in mid sentence when she hung up, I don't have the email address to send it...I would have gotten a letter a long time ago...

This has to be the best dentist office I've ever stepped foot in! All the staff are super friendly and patient and take real good care of their patients!! Very understanding and has made me love going back to the dentist!! I can't wait to get all my teeth back to better health! And I'm so glad I found BFD!!!

My twins were nervous and having a really hard time coming to their cleaning. The staff went above and beyond to make them feel comfortable and I am so grateful for them! I'd recommend them 10 out of 10 for anyone.

I had an extreme fear of dentists that was caused by my very first dentist over 45 years ago and couldn't get rid of that fear until I found a friend who recommended this practice! One and a half years later? Fear completely gone! I trust them implicitly now!

I want to boast about a particular office among the practice, office 5-F. I came in several years ago with concerns with my teeth as they had went down hill after having my first son. I saw Dr. Leslie, this is when we developed a repore, not only does she have excellent bed side manor but her work is incomparable! I have seen many dentist over the years and she is by far the BEST! Not only is the work structurally sound but it looks good as well which is very important to me and my self confidence! I had a some work done by two different dentists in the practice other than Dr.Leslie and unfortunately I was less than satisfied with their work, but I guess if you've had work done by the BEST to begin with its going to be hard for anyone else to compare! I have switched to having all dental work done exclusively by Dr.Leslie and Im very happy with my results each time! I also enjoy the receptionists in this particular office as well, especially rain ( I hope I spelled her name right) she is incredibly nice and helpful! THANK YOU DR.LESLIE FOR HAVING THE TIME AND PATIENCE FOR ALL THE EXTENSIVE WORK I'VE REQUIRED OVER THE YEARS! I APPRECIATE YOU GREATLY, MORE THAN I CAN EXPRESS!

Everyone at this office was absolutely amazing with my 6 year old daughter and I could not recommend it more! I myself have always hated the dentist and have a lot of anxiety around it even bringing my daughter. I did not want her to start off on the wrong foot and have a bad experience from such a young age! Rain at the front desk was so sweet and Candy was so patient explaining everything she was doing and showing her each step while cleaning her teeth and taking her X-rays! Dr.Lesile came in and was also amazing and patient with her and they shared the same favorite color pink which my daughter liked! Very thankful for a good experience where I will feel so comfortable taking my daughter and all future children there.

The front desk receptionist was awesome and welcoming! Going to the dentist always makes me a little nervous, but Dr. Hill and the hygienist/assistant were amazing as well! Definitely a 10/10!

I can't brag on this facility enough ! We started seeing doctor leslie when my son was 4 he's now 11 !!! He had a mouth full of bad teeth And I was that momma who was scared of sedation and wanted someone to give it a try at filling them naturally ! Well she was my doctor ! She was so amazing with Brayden throughout the whole 12-14 filling/crowns And he done absolutely amazing !! They have branched off now so we don't always get to see doctor leslie but Brayden has seen a couple of the other dentist and likes them as well ! My daughter who's now almost 18 has been seeing her and some of the other dentist there also for 7 years ! These people have become more than our dentist we consider them our friends ! Kelly the lady in the office goes above and beyond to make sure your needs are met and to get you in in a timely manner , she's the absolute sweetest ! I give this office a 10 plus !! For quality, cleanliness, hospitality and every above ! There just and amazing team !!!!!!
