Dr. Sandy Bigman is passionate about orthodontics and helping you and your child achieve the best results possible! He's treated more than 10,000 patients ranging from age five to 75 years old, and he cant wait to help your family along the journey to a healthier smile.
Dr. Bigman is board-certified by the American Board of Orthodontics. Whats more, he also serves on the Council of the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Orthodontics where he helps encourage, support and facilitate the board certification process for his fellow orthodontists.
Following dental school, Dr. Bigman spent two years practicing general dentistry. This gives him the attention to detail that will provide the lasting results youre looking to see in your child or yourself.
Dr. Bigman has been fortunate to have worked alongside various talented orthodontic experts, during and following his education. In fact, hes even appeared in the orthodontic journal Orthotown. In 1988, Dr. Bigman opened his practice in San Ramon and has created more than 10,000 healthy, beautiful smiles.
When he's not creating unforgettable smiles, Dr. Bigman enjoys spending time with his wife, Neleen, and their children's families: Jason, Amanda, and Hallie, son-in-law Dale, daughter-in-law Yura, and their grandchildren, Braxon and Maela.
Amy lives in San Ramon with her husband, Jud, and their two sons, Jake and Holden. When shes not at the office, she loves volunteering with various organizations, watching sports, and spending quality time with her family outdoors.
Mia is a Registered Dental Assistant and has been with our team since 1995. What she loves the most about her job is getting to know our patients and their families on a personal level while watching their smiles transform.
Adrienne is our x-ray technician and records coordinator. Hers is the kind face you will see whenever photographs or x-rays are needed. She has been a member of the Bigman Orthodontics team since 2003 and meets every patient at their first visit!
Nichole is a registered dental assistant and has been with the Bigman team since 2007. She loves seeing the progress our patients make throughout their treatment and the confidence that comes with a new smile!
Nichole is married to her high school sweetheart, Johnny. Together, they have two beautiful daughters, Isabella and Julianna, who keep them very busy! Nichole loves spending time with family, friends, and enjoy watching her girls at dance class.
I am the Treatment Coordinator and have been in the orthodontics field since 2016. I will help you explore treatment options, and I look forward to being there for you every step of the way as you embark on your new smile journey. Outside of the office my significant other and I enjoy traveling and exploring new places. We love outdoor adventures such as hiking and relaxing on the lake.

I recently completed my 6 week after braces retainer check. I could not be happier. My husband also went to Dr. Bigman and in only 9 months his teeth were straightened using Invisalign. If you are considering straightening your teeth as an adult or for your children I highly recommend Dr. Bigman of Bigman Orthodontics and his staff. Each and every one of his well trained staff and all of the experienced technicians are highly qualified in their fields. Dr. Bigman's practice is the most organized medical practice we have ever been to. They are always on time!!! The practice is very well managed and there was barely a few minutes wait in the waiting room for all of our visits. This practice is ideal if you are working and require a tight schedule. Dr. Bigman uses state of the art everything including wires in traditional braces that respond to your body's temperature resulting in the pain free moving of your teeth. The practice has in place every possible safety measure to treat patients during Covid. You must answer a series of Covid related questions, have your temperature taken, wear a mask (except while being treated), the office has implemented special treatment procedures for Covid including a special mouth rinse. We felt very safe.

I really like Dr Bogman and all his staff. The staff are extremely friendly and caring. Dr Bigman is very knowledgeable and caring. My both kids go to him and love him. He has many years of experience and knowledge. I have many other friends who finished ortho with him and saw great results. My daughter's teeth already look much better only in few months. In addition, I love how clean the office is. I highly recommend Dr Bigman for your ortho needs.My kids always look forward to their appointments.

I came to Bigman with jaw issues, they were very informative and helpful. They suggested I get botox for my jaw, which I ended up doing and I have already felt results in 2 weeks. They have been very realistic with me and have noted multiple times that they hope to only see me once for my jaw and that I dont have any other issues (which I hope so too). They are very friendly in the office and very timely. They also do not want to tack on any extra costs that are not needed which is very refreshing to hear. I feel valued as a patient. Thank you Bigman for helping me with my jaw issues.
