I have been coming to Big Wide Smiles for almost 8 years now. I have dental anxiety so finding a new dentist wasn't exactly on my list of things I wanted to do. However, Dr. Lunsford is so wonderful. She is very thorough, patient, and takes the time to answer all your questions. I like that she explains things in detail and explains what she is doing beforehand. Tracie is the best and a wonderful asset to Big Wide Smiles in my opinion. I won't go anywhere else as long as she is there. Thank you, Big Wide Smiles for always taking such good care of me and my family.

I have been seeing Dr. Lunsford since I moved here ten years ago and have never had a bad experience. I have pretty intense dental anxiety (I would take anti-anxiety meds to even get in the office) and neglected dental care for a lot of years due to this. When telling Dr. Lunsford this, she was receptive to my wants and needs and supported me to the degree that my anxiety is almost non-existent when getting dental work done. She's pleasant, conversational, patient, communicative, and gentle throughout the entire process. Another point to note for those that may find this valuable: this office is extremely LGBTQIA friendly. I had a name change a few years ago and was respected and was not dead-named once. I was even asked my pronouns to make sure the office got them correct. Tracy at the front desk is amazing!

I have had the absolute pleasure of having cosmetic and general dentist Dr. Julia Reilly, create GORGEOUS veneers for me! YES, I drive 4 hours (one way), for an incredibly talented and wonderful dentist! I had bonding on my front teeth and laterals since 2007. In 2019 I decided to pursue Invisalign braces after a series of issues from having a cross bite (Dr. Reilly is amazing at performing root canals as well)! After a year and a half of Invisalign, and general wear and tear, my bonding had worn down and I wanted to pursue something that lasted longer. My concerns were wanting a smile that looked more like square adult teeth (compared to rounder shaped teeth), while making sure it was still proportionate to my features. Dr. Reilly is a perfectionist and it shows in her beautiful work! The procedure was painless and very quick! It only required 2 visits for a smile that lasts a lifetime (or I guess until I need dentures LOL)! I highly recommend Dr. Reilly if you are wanting to perfect your smile, correct issues with your teeth, or anything to do with your overall oral health! I promise finding a good dentist is so worth it! The staff and receptionist are so sweet and kind! Everyone truly goes out of their way to make you feel welcomed and comfortable!

Had a root canal at this office and a crown put in. Had to have the root canal redone as an emergency visit because not all the nerve/root was cleaned out of the tooth. Had to pay out of pocket for the second crown amd root canal because dental does not cover retreatment. Not enough material was left in the tooth to hold the crown, so now need an implant. Had the tooth been fixed correct the first time, it would have saved me a lot of pain, money and headache. Thousands of dollars on this tooth. The dental surgeon who redid the root canal showed me images of the before and after--there was no gray andrea here--this office missed the ball.

I have been going to Dr Lunsford since she opened her practice. I have been to dentists in Ohio, Dallas, and Austin, Tx and she is the most gentle dentist of them all. My mom who is 95 had her first appointment for a cleaning at Big Wide Smiles because her dentist is not wheelchair accessible. In addition, she is hard of hearing even though she wears hearing aids. Mary was wonderful with her. She was very patient and spoke clearly so my mom could hear her. Dr. Lunsford offers a very generous plan for those without insurance. After 60 years of going to my mom's previous dentist and always paying cash, her dentist explained he has a contract with the insurance companies that he "must" charge cash customers more. So much for loyalty. Dr. Lunsford, on the first visit, has an arrangement in which my mom was charged significantly less. Tracie and Amanda at the front desk are genuinely friendly and helpful. I have never had to a better dentist including her professional staff. Diane Roberts

Thanks to them I never knew what amalgam is in my entire life. I went to dentists many times in my life and they never used amalgam. These people are obsessed with it. It stained my tooth. Save your self and family. This dentist is not worth to go to.

My whole family has been coming here for years. We love dr Lunsford! Tracy at the front desk is so helpful. I usually see Mary for my cleanings and she is very gentle yet thorough. I've never had a cavity! Louise is awesome too. Highly recommend this office

Never again. They use very cheap materials to save money on your health. I told them not use amalgam, and they still used it. They are old tech and trying to get your money with things that are not necessary. They are insisted about amalgam all the time.

My wife and I have been going to Big Wide Smiles for 5 years and have had good experiences. When a filling had fallen out, I was given a quick appointment and the filling was corrected free of charge. I appreciate all the reminders via phone call and text.

Very good office for someone who has anxiety about the dentist. It is a very calming environment and the technicians will be understanding if you are scared or in pain.

New to the area and tried this dental office. I am a certified Infection Control Nurse and observed poor hygienic practices and as a result returned to my CT based dental office. My fiance continued with this practice and after a routine cleaning ended up with an infection requiring antibiotics.
