Frankly, I think I have been blessed with the best patients and the best teamin the world. I cantruthfullytell anyonethat I love coming into the office every day!I get to build great relationships with people young and old and everyone in between. Every day I see people from every walk of life including farmers, park rangers, police officers, doctors, engineers, builders, teachers, students, mothers, and fathers. It is fun talking with one another and learning about each others lives. The friendships that we form are natural. Everyone looks forward to seeing a friend. And who would not look forward to making a new one?
I enjoy every aspect of being a dentist. My favorite part, though, might just be helping patients through dental anxiety. There are a lot of painless options available for people who worry about trips to the dentist. It feels great to see a persons life improve because you were able to help them get rid of a real problem that had been a road block to the perfect health and beautiful smile that theyalways deserved.
I enjoy putting patients in the drivers seat with information and all the choices afforded them by todays array of advanceddental technology. We know a great deal about how to prevent future problems through healthcare decisions patients can make themselves. I want all of my patients to know that a lifetime of great health is in their control!

I received my undergraduate degree from Southern Adventist University and my Doctorate in Dental Surgery from Loma Linda University. As education is a lifetime project and responsibility for any practicing professional, I know I have a duty to always pursue knowledge and polish my skills. Each patient I see deserves the best medical care available. In order to always be able to provide that high-quality care, I must constantly seek to improve my craft. So, away from work, I may often be found keeping up with the latest medical and scientific findings or attending lectures. Continuing education is the only way I will always be the best provider I can be.
Working with and maintaining strong relationships with other members of my profession is easily as important as taking formal continuing education classes. Those in any profession function best as a team. Each professional encounters unique challenges. Together, we keep one another informed of clinical experience and research through writings, discussions, and meeting one on one regarding the latest discoveries, best practices, and most recent technology. I am committed to making sure each new patient I encounter receives the benefits of this collective knowledge.
I am actively involved with our State andLocal Dental Society. Currently, I am serving as the head of the Technology Committee for the Montana Dental Societyand as President of the 6th District Dental Society.
My wife Shelli, a physical therapist, and I have been blessed to live in Montana since 2009. We love it here. She and I enjoy so many of the great outdoor activities that this area has to offer. Especially anything that takes us into the backcountry during winter.
I am honored and privileged to be a part of the Bozeman community. What is more, every medical professional knows that the call to provide care by serving others is central to his or her life. For the last seven years, I have participated in free dental days for our citizens. This year, Big Sky Dental Center was excited to have provided free sports mouthguards for the Bridger Ski Foundation Race team. It has also been a remarkable gift to have been able to participate in aiding others through service trips to Mexico, Belize,and Costa Rica.

Heather has over 19 years experience as a dental hygienist. A Montana native, she was raised in Manhattan. She has been providing patients with exceptional dental hygiene care and takes pride in her gentle, yet thorough approach. Most importantly, she appreciates the lasting relationships she makes with her patients and their families.
Heather and her husband are excited to raise their son here in Bozeman. She keeps busy with her son and all of his activites, including downhill ski racing with Bridger Ski Foundation, and mountain bike racing with MICA.
Teresa has a passion for providing information on the correlation between oral and health care to all of her patients. Her enthusiasm for health in all capacities has translated into her dedication to researching the importance of a balanced body. She enjoys strengthening her body, mind, and spirit while working to discover the joy of living in the moment.

Just as she enjoys educating patients, she is dedicated to teaching and raising her son and daughter alongside her husband. I am visiting family from out of town and broke a filling which caused a great deal of nerve pain. Dr. McClung was able to work me in the same afternoon and did a fantastic job explaining three options that we could choose from to treat it, his practice was completely transparent about the price, and he was incredibly gentle with the work that he did - especially considering I have had some bad experiences in the past with painful procedures. I would come here again in a heartbeat.

Big Sky Dental is professional, honest and cheerful. Going to the dentist is not something most people look forward to, and after a very bad experience at another dentist in Bozeman I was looking for a Dentist that does quality work that I actually need. Dr. McClung has been excellent to work with and I really appreciate that he takes the time to explain why a procedure is needed or not. The Office Manager, Shelia is a cheerful joy to work with, despite only visiting twice a year she still remembers my name, and what we talked during my previous visits. The rest of the staff has been great to work with as well and all of my cleanings have been quick and pain free. I highly recommend Big Sky Dental.

They are all about money and do not have the patients best interests in mind. If money is your passion, then go into law or finance and not health care. I came in with a toothache, I had a cavity and they started doing tons of x rays and telling me that all my teeth are cracked and I need a root canal, possibly a tooth extraction. Only to then go to a different dentist and they were all like, yeah it's a cavity, but the root and tooth are completely healthy. The new dentist put in a filling and now I'm all good.

While on vacation from Tennessee to Yellowstone and The Grand Tetons I developed severe pain and a swollen face due to an abscessed tooth. My husband googled local dentist and he chose Big Sky Dental due to all the great reviews. We were so blessed to get an appointment first thing that Monday morning. Everyone was so nice and my husband and I were very impressed with the service we received. They couldn't pull the tooth, but referred me to a great oral surgeon, Dr. Maurer with Bozeman Oral Surgery and Implant Center. They called and scheduled me an appointment the same day. Not a way I wanted to start my vacation, but I was so pleased with my care! I highly recommend Big Sky Dental, they definitely live up to all their positive reviews!!:)

All members of the team were absolutely amazing! They went above and beyond every expectation. I was originally scheduled for an exam and imaging but talked about the need for a teeth cleaning as well. They were able to fit it in during my visit without me even asking if that was possible. The last thing I would like to add is this team is knowledgeable, patient, and kind. They would be my recommendation for anyone looking for a dental center! Thank you for making the experience so pleasant!

Both my husband and I received excellent care at Big Sky Dental Center. All staff are very friendly and helpful. I had three cavities filled and they offered me noise canceling headphones and music to distract me. I really can't recommend Dr. Jones enough. She is extremely knowledgable, approachable, and friendly. Unfortunately we are having to switch providers due to our insurance, but if this was not a factor we would be pleased to stay with this office! I appreciate how they are always upfront with what the cost will be. Highly recommend.

Had a tooth ache and called them regarding it on a Wednesday. They did x rays for me on Thursday and planned to move forward on Monday but said to call them if it got worse. It doubled in pain and was about 8/10 on the pain scale the night after the x rays. I called Friday morning to report my pain to their after hours hotline. I got a call back in maybe 30 minutes and they opened their doors on a day off to examine my teeth and referral me to and oral surgeon in an hour on a friday. I got a root canal within 48 hours of toothpain and am feeling much better. Id like to thank Jessie and Dr. Mclung for going above and beyond to make sure i would feel better. Best dentist team ive ever dealt with.

In right away... fast thorough exam 'showing me the results', cheapest price ever paid for a visit and exam! I was shocked and awed at the difference in better service AND for less money. I will be back. Thanks for a pleasant day at the dentist.

I just had an amazing first patient experience with Dr. Jesse McClung and his entire team at Big Sky Dental. From the front office staff to the assistants and hygienist, everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and professional. Dr. McClung took so much time just talking to me to get to know me, and about a tricky dental issue I've been having for a few years... it's so rare for a doctor to spend that much genuine time, I felt like a VIP. Also, the office space is new, clean, and great. I'm so glad I found this wonderful practice.

Managed to fit me in at last minute for a broken tooth. I am not one of their patients so that was really appreciated. The whole thing was professional and friendly including finding a specialist for me when they were not able to deal with my problem there and then. Highly recommended. AND PAINLESS!
