Dr. Seth Hinckley is a native of Montana. He served a two-year mission for his church in East Los Angeles, speaking Spanish, before he returned home and attended Montana State University to obtain degrees in cell biology and neuroscience, microbiology, and Spanish. He then went on to Oregon Health and Science University School of Dentistry in Portland, Oregon, where he graduated with his Doctor of Dental Medicine in 2016. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Montana Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry, and he participates in continuing education every year. His primary goal is to help his patients live longer, fuller lives by preventing dental disease and restoring patients back to a state of health and happiness.
In his youth, Dr. Hinckley participated in community involvement through the Boy Scouts of America, where he earned his Eagle Scout rank. He is involved in his churchs youth program and loves to teach. Dr. Hinckley has a loving wife and four rambunctious kids, and when not at the office, he enjoys camping, hiking, marksmanship and Brazilian jiu-jitsu.
Autumn became part of our practice in February 2020. She worked in a dental environment after school for two years and volunteered for Sealants for Smiles at elementary schools. She loves helping our patients feel confident and comfortable at the dental office and with their smiles. She contributes to our office by assisting Dr. Hinckley with treatment procedures, flipping rooms, sanitizing instruments and helping our patents get the care they need.
Erin started working at our office in June of 2020. She received her bachelors degree in biology at Colorado State University in 2012 and later attended Pima Medical Institute-Seattle in 2017 for her registered dental hygiene degree. She loves being a part of the growing and evolving practice at Big Heart Family Dentistry, where it really feels like a family. She enjoys telling everyone she knows about this great office so they can experience the big heart of Dr. Hinckley.
Erin has a wonderful husband and sweet little boy. Her hobbies include watching movies and TV, though it is not too easy catching up on things with a young child, so she mostly finds herself watching more Disney than anything.
Julie became part of our office in 2002. She attended East Washington University for her Associate of Applied Science degree. She loves our patients and being part of a team that is patient oriented. Her knowledge of dental procedures and work with insurance companies help contribute to the success of our practice.
We were happy to see Julie join our office in August of 2009. She graduated from Bigfork High School and enjoys our office because it feels like a family. She loves how we help each other and how we all seem to come together when we need to. She is personable with all our patients and speaks to them as soon as they come through our doors. She is happy to ask about their families, vacations and children as she engages in their lives.
Lea joined our office in July of 2020. She likes being part of a practice that makes her happy. Our team of workers are awesome, and she loves our positive environment. She helps our dentist as an assistant and strives to provide our patients with good, comfortable visits.
Lea comes from a large, awesome family of four sisters and one brother! She is thrilled to be married to her best friend! Her hobbies include snowboarding, going shooting, being in nature and doing pretty much anything outdoors.
Mindy joined us in January of 2017. After graduating from Bigfork High School, she joined our office, where she loves contributing to and promoting our family aspect, which can be seen with not only our team members but also our patients. She helps keep the backend running smoothly.
Sally became a part of our practice in 2009. She graduated from Great Falls College Montana State University with a Bachelor of Science in dental hygiene and healthcare management. She enjoys being part of a team that takes care of individual patient needs and contributes to our success by taking the time to educate patients about oral health.
Sarah became part of our practice in 2000. She graduated from Sheridan College in Wyoming. She loves being a part of such a caring team and helping our patients to be healthy. She strives to have a positive attitude and encourage and motivate others to be their best selves.
Sarah is married to her husband, Kevin, and has a golden retriever called Chessle. She is passionate about her faith and is extremely grateful to God for the blessings in her life. In her free time, she enjoys bible study, running, cooking, spending time with her husband and taking long walks with her dog.

I went here on kind of an emergency situation, absolutely hating the dentist. I ended up having to get a tooth extracted and when I say (as a certified dentist hater) this was the best dental experience I've ever had. Very professional, very quick and extremely knowledgeable. The staff made we so comfortable and they were just very warm and welcoming. I highly recommend!

Dr Hinckley has been very professional and has the special touch for doing dentistry. He does a great job communicating and did outstanding work on my crown and some fillings that started to come loose. I've been to a number of dentist over the years, but I believe Dr Hinckley is the best I've ever been to. Glad he's in the valley. The staff has also been super friendly and helpful. Dr. Hinckley and his staff at Big Heart are by far the best in the business! My fiance and I needed some major dental work this year and they took the best care of us. They're so friendly, considerate and really do have the biggest hearts! We couldn't be happier with our results and will definitely recommend them 100%! We moved about 5 hours away but will still be driving back to them for future needs

I found Big Heart Family Dentistry while researching dentists in Kalispell willing to accommodate new Medicaid patient's. Dr. Hinkley has since helped me to develope and execute a plan for my teeth. It's still ongoing, but today I picked up my partial denture, and I am so satisfied!!! Thank you Dr. Hinkley and the staff at Big Heart, you have all been amazing!

I had a chipped tooth as an old filing fell out. They got me in immediately and Dr Hinkley was so incredibly nice and got me fixed up within 20 min! I was extremely impressed and will be back! Made my upcoming weekend bearable. Thank you!

Dr. Hinckley is an amazing dentist. He really did a fantastic job and made me comfortable and relaxed. He has great humor, which is definitely a good thing for a dentist. Erin did my cleaning, and she was fabulous! I enjoyed the whole visit, and definitely plan on bringing my entire family!

No one likes seeing the doctor, but Dr. Hinkley and his crew are awesome! They are very friendly, easy going, and made the experience easy and fun. Best dentist I've been to.

The Doctor and all the staff were so helpful and welcoming to me, and helped me out every step of the way. Giving any and all information you needed, to keeping a casual and light hearted conversation while in the chair. All while making sure you were comfortable and safe in these trying times. I will be continuing to recommend them to anyone who requires dentistry help!
