Dr. Donald Biffen opened Biffen Family Dentistry in 1977 following his graduation from Temple Universitys Kornberg School of Dentistry. He completed his undergraduate studies at Wilkes College and Temple Universitys School of Pharmacy. Continuing his education to stay up-to-date on the latest in dentistry is important to Dr. Donald and he takes at least 25 hours of continuing education classes each year. The courses he has taken includes the Sybron Endo Advanced Rotary Endodontics course and the Camlog Dental Implants course, both of which he completed with his son. As a dentist, Dr. Donald has been committed to providing high-quality, honest, and caring service to his patients since he began practicing. His many satisfied patients (which now include third and fourth generations of patients) love the care and friendship theyve received at the hands of Dr. Donald and his dental team.
Dr. Donald and his wife Judith have two daughters, Stephanie Armstrong and Sarah Biffen, and one son, Andrew Biffen, DMD. Dr. Donald is a man of many hobbies and in his spare time you may find him reading, fishing, or participating in a Civil War reenactment.
Dr. Andrew Biffen joined his fathers practice in 2011 after he completed his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Temple Universitys Kornberg School of Dentistry. His Bachelors degree was completed at East Stroudsburg University. To consistently provide the best care, Dr. Andrew continuously takes continuing education courses. Some of the courses he has completed include the Sybron Endo Advanced Rotary Endodontics course and the Camlog Dental Implants course. Dr. Andrew makes every effort to provide quality, caring service to his current and future patients.
Dr. Andrews hobbies include photography and spending time with his family, including his father, Dr. Donald R. Biffen, DDS, and his mother, Judith T. Biffen, a retired dental hygienist. Dr. Andrew is grateful for the opportunity he has to provide quality dental care alongside his father.
Sherri graduated from Luzerne County Community College, Nanticoke, PA with a degree in Dental Hygiene. She has worked in several offices in New Jersey and Pennsylvania including a pediatric office and an office specializing in periodontal therapies. Sherri joined the Biffen Family Dentistry team 11 years ago and loves the challenges of treating a variety of patients on a daily basis.

I have been going to Biffen Family Dentistry my entire life and now my children go there as well. I've never dreaded the dentist due to their exemplary and professional service. My daughter recently needed a small procedure, she was very worried and upset at arrival. They took the time and care to explain everything to her in detail and set her mind at ease. Highly recommend!

For the 20 years or so that I have been coming here it has always been wonderful. The staff is the sweetest. They will really do anything I need to be accommodated and the office is spotless! I love it and definitely recommend it.
