I love being able to improve peoples lives by giving them a nicer smile, greater confidence, and a healthier mouth. Each person I meet is as unique as the smile we create for them, and I find great satisfaction in building meaningful relationships that last, even after treatment is completed. My team and I enjoy our work and appreciate the opportunity to meet and help people. We treat all our patients like we would treat a member of our own family.
Working with patients to improve their smile and bite is extremely rewarding, especially when we see them become more confident and happy. I enjoy the whole process involved with braces, but love when we finally get to remove the braces and reveal the beautiful results of all the work we and our patients have done.

I participate in numerous hours of continuing education every year to stay at the cutting edge of orthodontics, and to ensure that were using the most efficient, evidence-based treatment modalities and technology. I want to be sure our patients get great results which will be stable and completed in the least amount of time possible.
I am a proud third-generation native of Portland, OR, and come from a family of dental health professionals. My father, Michael Biermann, is a pediatric dentist in north Portland, and my uncle, Bruce Biermann, is a general dentist in Sandy, OR.
When Im not in the office, I can most often be found playing racquetball, running, hiking, or golfing. I enjoy reading, cooking, good wine, and eating at any of the many great restaurants Portland has to offer.
Andy was born and raised in Pennsylvania. He comes from a family of Dentists, starting with his father and then his brother following the same route. Andy decided he was more interested in business than becoming a Dentist.
When Andy isnt working in the office, he enjoys spending time on the golf course with his wife and walked their 2 dogs. Andy is a diehard animal lover and will always stop to pet a dog when he has the opportunity. Andy also is a devoted sports fan and favors any team from Pittsburgh.
Rachelle was born and raised in The Biggest Little City (Reno, NV) and moved to Oregon in 2011. Prior to working at Biermann Orthodontics, Rachelle managed a spa and learned that the key to a great patient experience was an upbeat attitude and a genuine smile.
Victoria was born and raised in Ireland. She moved to the United States in 2011 where she married her amazing husband, AJ. Victoria recently rescued her first dog, Chester. When she is not running around and playing with Chester, you can find her cooking with her husband, reading, sewing, drawing and hiking.
You may also find her obsessing over her favorite sports team the Denver Broncos. Her favorite TV shows is Westworld and she loves watching anything corgi related. She looks forward to meeting you all and is very happy to offer you a cup of tea and striking up a good conversation. Victoria says, its just the Irish way!
Tara can often be found on her days off making her signature themed party drinks for late night dinner parties and holiday feasts (so shes definitely the gal you want to invite to your next soiree). She enjoys baking red velvet cakes and cookies for the holidays and taking food trips. When the weather permits, Tara likes to take leisurely walks on some of the many beautiful trails Oregon has to offer.
Jen comes to us from bright and sunny SoCal. She is known throughout the office for her contagious laugh and cheerful demeanor. In the 10 years that Jen has been in the orthodontic field, her favorite part has always been the lasting relationships shes built with each patient.
Jen is a photography pro and spends her days off with her husband exploring Oregon and taking pictures. She can also be found being dragged around by her rambunctious German Shepherd puppy, Canon (Yes, named after the camera brand)!
Born in Scotland, Melanie moved to the United States 3 years ago. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, golfing and being out on the water. If you find Mel at a bowling alley, just know she is a force to be reckoned with. Mel has a high score of 192! Mel is also a self-proclaimed True Crime addict (we would set up an intervention, but we are all guilty of a Tiger King binge now and again.)
