Dr. Michael Bierie was born and raised in Dubuque Iowa, and is privileged to have had the opportunity to return home to serve his community. Dr. Mike received his DDS from Creighton University School of Dentistry in 1995. In order to gain more expertise, Dr. Mike completed a 2-year residency at the University of Colorado.
After completing his residency, a unique opportunity was available to Dr. Mike, the privilege of joining his father, Dr. Dave Bierie in his already established and successful practice. Since his return to Dubuque, Dr. Mike has thoroughly enjoyed the opportunityto serve and give back to his community.
Dr. Mike is currently a member of the American Dental Association, Iowa Dental Association, and Dubuque District Dental Society. Dr. Mike has served as the President of the Dubuque District Dental Society, and as a Delegate for Dubuque County at the Annual Iowa Dental Association Meeting. He also participates in the Sealant Program coordinated by the Dubuque Visiting Nurses Associations.
Dr. Mike remains dedicatedto offering the best possible care for his patients and in order to do so remains avidly committed to continuing educationcourses. He has completed numerous courses and studies with the Seattle Institute for Advanced Dental Education.
Outside of work, Dr. Mike enjoys spending time with his wife and their chickens. He enjoys all things outdoors, especially hiking, boating and golf. Inspite ofhis love of dentistry, Dr. Mike is also a passionate hockey fan and along with his wife, billeted for the Dubuque Fighting Saints for many years.

I will never go anywhere else. Both Dr. Mike and Dr. Luke are wonderful and professional and every staff member knows how to brighten my day! To say I trust them all is an understatement.

Dr Mike and Dr Luke are very good, professional and gentle. Love talking with staff who are always friendly and helpful. My family and I have been patients since the mid 80's.

I've been going to Bieries since I had teeth and It never fails the longest part of my appointment is chatting with the staff - they're the best!!!! Dr Mike and Dr Luke being good AND gentle at their jobs (which is a lot coming from an inconsistent flosser) is a bonus

I've been a patient of Bierie dental since the 70's, for a good reason. I have never had a bad visit! Everyone is always professional, courteous, friendly; high quality care - always! Today, I had an old crown removed to take care of a cavity, then a temporarily crown put in place. No problem -a great visit- as expected.

Erica cleaned my teeth today and does such a professional job. The dentist Dr Mike checked me for cavities but things looked great! I love having teeth that feel good and look good. I also had them clean the mouth guard Dr Luke has made for me. I grind my teeth when I sleep. This helps so much with extra stress on my jaw joints and on my teeth having other issues. They made it fit great. Price is reasonable too for what it does for me. Also received fluoride today. Insurance doesn't cover it but for $36 to help my teeth I feel it is worth it ~ thank you all for your excellent customer service. I would definitely recommend Dr Bierie's to anyone, as they have the most reasonable costs for the great products and services they offer. The staff is so friendly too!!

Had a crown placed on today. One visit! Everything done right in the office. No pain what so ever. Been going there over 20 years and my kids. Everyone loves going to Dr. Bierie.
