I am a registered dental hygienist. I came to BSDA after I graduated from University of New England in June, 2019. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my yellow lab and trying new recipes in the kitchen.
As a Dental Assistant Andrea came to us through our reputation in the community. Shes very aligned with how we treat people, making sure you feel comfortable and known like a family is her main goal. Andrea enjoys spending time with her family and friends while hanging at the lake in particular.
Carly has been with BSDA as a dental assistant since 2016. She lives in Biddeford with her husband and their two sons. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family, cooking, reading and traveling.
Erica has been a Receptionist at BSDA since July of 2021. She has a background in child education which serves her well with her son who is four and very active. Erica loves cooking and spending time with her husband, son and dog exploring all the New England has to offer. They especially enjoy hiking and going to the beach.
Heather has been at BSDA since 2002. She received her bachelor degree at the University of New England in Dental Hygiene. Before that she earned an associate degree in psychology at the Community College of Vermont, where she grew up. She is the proud mom of 2 delightful little boys and a stepmom to 3 beautiful girls. In her spare time, she enjoys being with her husband, spending time with her family, hiking and traveling.
Karen is a Registered Dental Hygienist who has been with BSDA since 1994. She enjoys working at BSDA with her great co-workers and boss. When not working, she enjoys spending time reading, walking on the beach and traveling with her husband and 2 adult children.
Kate was born in Massachusetts but was raised in Maine. She recently graduated from the University of New England with a BS in Dental Hygiene. Kate enjoys gardening and visiting the beach. She has a deep love for puppies and cooking. Kate is really looking forward to travelling more and seeing all that the world has to offer.
Kelly enjoys being a team member here at BSDA Her favorite part of her job is meeting and greeting patients when they arrive and making sure each patient feels special. She appreciates working at BSDA because the team here feels like family. Outside of the office she loves spending time with her husband and two wonderful daughters; she also really enjoys cooking and traveling.
Lisa is a Certified Dental Assistant who has been with BSDA since 2001. She lives in Springvale with her husband and has three grown daughters. Together they enjoy many outdoor activities and make the most of all Maine has to offer.
Lisa graduated from Westbrook College for Dental Hygienein 1997 . She has beena dedicatedRegistered Dental Hygienist with BSDA since 1999. In Lisas spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and teaching dance at a local dance studio.
Melissa is a dental assistant who has been with BSDA since 2003. She lives in North Waterboro with her husband. She enjoys shopping, being at the lake and spending as much time as possible with her kids and grandkids enjoying all of their activities.
Nadine is our Insurance Coordinatorandhas been with BSDA since 2002. Nadine always enjoys interacting with our patient and co-workers, who she considers as her second family. She enjoys spending quality time with her beautiful daughter, married son and her wonderful grandchildren. You can also find her spending time with her three sisters and friends enjoying sunny days, long walks, belly laughs and taking in the moment.
She enjoys building relationships with patients so that everyone feels like a friend. She finds it especially rewarding when she can help a patient understand their dental insurance benefits (we all know it can get confusing). She wants everyone she helps to feel really confident in the treatment they schedule and how it will be handled after-the-fact.
Rochelle is a Registered Dental Hygienist who has been with BSDA since 2004. She lives in Sanford and has a daughter who attends the University of Southern Maine and plays for the womens basketball team, the Huskies. Rochelle enjoys running, golfing, riding her motorcycle and spending time with family and friends.
Summer has been with BSDA since September of 2021 and came to us with a background in Healthcare Management. Prior to starting in the dental field Summer worked as a specialty practice manager for several local Maine hospitals. Originally from Colorado, Summer enjoys the outdoors and spends time with her spouse and two children gardening, cooking and exploring all that Maine has to offer.
Biddeford Saco Dental Associates is a locally owned small business dental practice that exists to be a place where people feel known, beyond just dental. We are a group of talented friends to people who want to keep their teeth.

I was a new patient to the practice and was treated incredibly well. Everyone was very friendly and professional. My hygienist, Tammy, did a great job and was very thorough. Dr. Nelson is awesome - reviewed and explained things very well. I highly recommend this practice.

Just had my first appointment. The entire staff was wonderful, especially my hygienist Tammy. The office is beautiful and up-to-date. The entire appointment was convenient and very efficient!

Got a vm saying we haven't been there for two years.. well it's because we left after our 2nd appointment! The dentists are great but the front staff lack manners. They also made our transition to the new dental office very difficult. We went through the online platform as directed, had to request our photos multiple times and they still sent unusable images..talk about leaving a bad taste in your mouth. Fortunately, our new dentist took new digital x-rays for the both of us at no cost! Never going back. Will avoid the rude and miserable, thanks.

I recently moved to the area, and my sister recommended this dental office. Hands down one of the most pleasant cleanings I've ever received. The hygienist was gentle but thorough, didn't shame me about my flossing habits (gave realistic recommendations for increasing frequency). I am very happy to have found this office!

No waiting despite the full parking lot. Stress free cleaning and I am pretty phobic about dental visits. Hygienist was friendly, professional and put me totally at ease. Loving this practice.

I was super anxious about my initial visit. I definitely have a fear of the dentist - especially for the first visit. However, Bailey and Dr. Ghandi were fantastic. They were so easy, laid back, and friendly. I could not have wished for a better visit. I can't believe I am actually looking forward to the work that I need to get done. That's a testament to how friendly and courteous their entire staff is. Not to mention they were able to get me a referral visit for endo work while I was still there. So I can't say enough good things about this practice - I highly suggest it!

Fantastic! As someone who has been terrified of the dentist for many years due to past trauma, I would have never imagined a time where I could say I had an amazing experience at the dentist, but Biddeford Saco Dental Associates gave me just that. From the receptionist who found a way to work me into the schedule when I was having an emergency, to the care I received start to finish- I cannot believe every member of the team performed so exceptionally. I had an exposed root on my two front teeth that caused intense pain/sensitivity and discoloration which they fixed immaculately. I was terrified it would hurt and that it would be obvious they bonded my front teeth, but it is as if nothing happened! Not to mention, the office is impeccable, it was hard to believe I was in a medical office. You can tell it is new and everything is very well done. Thank you team, this is the first morning in as long as I can remember I could brush my teeth without pain, and I can't begin to explain the newfound confidence in my smile :)

They took me on short notice. Did a great job of analysis. Conclusion was that I did not need any immediate dental work. Which of course is of no benefit for them. Testament to their honesty.

I hadn't been to a dentist since before the pandemic started a few years ago and my last experience with a dentist was so painful I really feared finding a new dentist even knowing I had some existing dental problems to fix. My sister recommended Biddeford Saco Dental Associates, the website looked very professional and when I emailed the team and let them know my situation they were super understanding and got me into the office in just a few weeks. I was incredibly nervous but my hygienist Bailey was fantastic, I didn't feel any pain during the cleaning and she kept me informed every step of the way. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming and even though I have a lot of issues to fix, I feel confident I'm getting the best advice and treatment/care with Biddeford Saco Dental Associates. It's a huge weight off my mind to know I found somewhere I can get the right care for me.

Had 5 cleanings and one filling so far, plus my entire family goes here. I was skeptical at first only because I've been played by several dentists in the last decade but this place is the real deal. They have up to date tech and equipment but don't try and make me pay for it by lying about work I don't need. Clean, friendly staff... and no BS. What more can you ask for!
