I am committed to providing the best care with the most awesome results for my patients. I enjoy using the latest techniques and technology to ensure my patients have healthy, straight smiles theyll love for the rest of their lives.

Ive been practicing for more than 35years. My father was a dentist and he inspired me to consider oral healthcare as a profession. Looking at all the wonderful people Ive met, and the smiles Ive created, lets me know I chose the right career.

I enjoy getting to know my patients personally and professionally. We often develop a strong bond that goes beyond doctor and patient. I love seeing them in our community, years after theyve finished treatment, and sharing those healthy smiles.

I attended South Salem High School, andpursued my undergraduate degree at Lewis &Clark College. I went on to complete my Doctorate of Dental Medicine and post-doctoral orthodontic specialty training at Oregon Health &Science University.

Im involved in several forms of continuing orthodontic education. I study the latest journals and I attend classes, seminars, and conferences throughout the Pacific Northwest and the country. Frequently, my staff and I have lunch and learn sessions to increase their knowledge topass on to our patients.

Continuing education is the best way to ensure my patients are receiving the very best care available. The oral healthcare field is exciting and always evolving. Im committed to staying ahead of the latest developments in orthodontics.

Im very active in high school ski racing. I also sponsor school events, including: theater and drama, rodeo, fundraisers, runs/walks, sports, and yearbooks. I also support the collection of items for the less fortunate in our community, along with food and can drives and church-sponsored events.

After growing up in Salem, Ive called Bend and Hood River my home for more than 30 years. My lovely wife Karen and I have been married for 40years. I have a daughter, Erin, who lives in Portland and another daughter, Kelly, who lives in London. Our family also includes two adorable dogs: Olive is our Jack Russell terrier and Gunnaris our English Cocker Spaniel.

We recognize that all our patients are unique and deserve to receive orthodontic care that reflects their individual needs. Our experienced and talented team is committed to working with you and your family to create a comfortable, stress-free, and rewarding orthodontic experience every time you visit our practice.

I enjoy interacting with and getting to know our patients and their families. Its a pleasure to watch each person become more outgoing and comfortable with themselves as they get their new smile. I oversee the business aspects of our practice, to ensureour wonderful team members can focus on whats important: the happiness of our patients! I handle HR, inventory and supply management, accounts payable, and many other things that keep the office running smoothly.

I love meeting our patients and parents when theyre just starting their orthodontic journey. Seeing a persons excitement at getting a beautiful smile, and watching that excitement build, makes me smile. Its a great feeling to be part of a team thatmakes real, lasting differences in peoples lives. I work with patients to make the most of their insurance benefits. I also find payment arrangements that work with a familys budget and manage our patient accounts.

I love taking care of our patients and learning who they are. Its enjoyable to watch people change along with their smile. By the time treatment is complete, theyre a whole new personwho is confident and always smiling. I assist Dr. Bickler as he cares for patients. I talk with the patient about what were doing and act as a second pair of hands. At the end of a visit, I answer questions, provide home care instructions, and check that our patient is smiling.

I truly love getting to know my patients:encouraging them out of their shells, joking with them, and opening myself to them. I feel that during their time in our care, they become our friends. When their journey in braces ends, I love experiencing their first reactions to the new them! I work directly with patients, and preparethem to see Dr. Bickler. I explain what hell be doing, then sit chairside, assisting the doctor and talking with our patient.

I love getting to know our patients and their families. Each person is important to us. I try to make sure they know how much we appreciate them coming to us for their new smile. Becoming friends with peoplewhile helping them develop the beautiful smile they deserveis fulfilling. I assist Dr. Bickler with procedures and treatment planning. I also manage our lab. My most important duty, though, is ensuring each patient receives the highest level of care.

For most people, achieving a healthy, beautiful smile is the reason for receiving orthodontic care. If you're self-conscious about your smile, correcting your concerns with braces will greatly improve the way you look and feel.

When your treatment is complete, you will have the smile you've always dreamed of and the confidence to show it off! We also want you to feel comfortable and confident throughout your entire orthodontic experience, and our practice is dedicated to making sure that you receive the quality care you deserve.

Orthodontic appliances are made of metal, ceramic, or plastic. They may be removable or they may be brackets bonded to the teeth. By placing a constant, gentle force in a carefully controlled direction, braces slowly move teeth to the proper position.

Gone are the days when a metal band with a bracket was placed around each tooth. You can now choose clear or metal brackets and, in some cases, the color of your appliance. Wires are far less noticeable, and the latest materials are designed to move teeth faster with more comfort. Today, any age is a great age to wear braces!

Treatment time varies and can last between one and three years, depending on several factors including age, treatment method, and how minor or severe your case is. A big factor in a successful treatment is you! The more involved and diligent you are, the more efficient your treatment will be. For children, receiving interceptive or early treatment can also help provide a quicker treatment time.

If I could I'd give a 0. These people are vile to say the least. They overcharge for sub par work. Also when I asked for my daughters health care paperwork they refused to give it time. I KNOW this is highly illegal and they will be hearing from my attorney very soon.
