Dr. Anshu Jain, DDS, leads our skilled team of dental professionals at Smiles at Murphy. Dr. Jain earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the New York University College of Dentistry in 2007 and then completed a two-year associate fellowship with the Academy of Gp Orthodontics.
Dr. Jain is also a graduate of the Dental Implant Continuum, a year-long, hands-on course with the Texas A&M College of Dentistry. During this intensive course, Dr. Jain learned how to perform effective and safe dental implant surgeries and restorations. She is an experienced dentist with an Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) Fellowship, an honor that only six percent of dentists earn. She uses herqualifications and advanced knowledge to help our patients create beautiful, functional smiles!
One of Dr. Jain's favorite parts of her job is having one-on-one discussions with her patients. With in-depth conversations, she can better understand a patient's needs while providing education and advice about the various routes to perfect oral health. As someone who appreciates design, she sees every smile as a work of art that can be molded, and she focuses on creating the perfect, healthy smile for every patient. She is always looking for new dental technologies and tools to make visits easier, faster, and more comfortable.
When she's not helping patients at Smiles at Murphy, Dr. Jain likes to spend free time with family and friends. She also picked up running as a hobby two years ago and participates in 5, 10, and 15k marathons regularly.
Dr. Bhavita Patel, DMD is new to our practice, but she is not new to dentistry. She was with a private practice in Plano for the last 15 years, and before that, she was lucky enough to practice with her mother who is a dentist in Florida. As a practitioner, Dr. Patel is dedicated to providing comprehensive dentistry in a warm, comfortable environment while building long-term relationships with patients of all ages. She has been selected as a D magazine Best Dentist in 2019 and 2020.
She is also a self-described health nut and leads a very active lifestyle. She enjoys traveling and watching all sports. However, nothing is more important to her and her husband than their two young daughters!
