Outside of the office walls, Dr. Christines career accomplishments include writing and illustrating 3 childrens books pertaining to oral health and braces with her twin sister who is also an orthodontist, as well as presenting at the 11th World Cleft Lip/Palate and Craniofacial Congress (ICPF) in China in 2017. Dr. Christine attended University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) for her undergraduate Bachelors in Science degree, followed by dental school at the University of the Pacific in San Francisco where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Finally, Dr. Christine stayed in San Francisco at UOP for her orthodontic residency, completing her Master of Science in Dentistry and Certificate in Orthodontics attestations.
In her free time, you can find Christine riding her bike around Santa Monica with her fianc, indulging in restaurants, and exploring Los Angeles with her friends. Originally from the Czech Republic, Christine has a passion for travel, including going back to visit her whole family in Europe.
Dr. Michelle Stepanek is a dedicated Orthodontist who specializes in Braces and Invisalign for children, teens and adults. Having strived to become an orthodontist since she was 11 years old, Dr. Michelle is not only passionate about crafting beautiful smiles, but she is also committed to creating a personalized, attentive patient experience for every person that steps through the door. In her own words, Creating a beautiful, straight smile is a work of art, and I promise to be the artist of your dreams! Together we will find the best approach for your treatment that will be tailored to your wants and needs. My goal is to provide you with a functioning bite as well as an esthetic smile that others will admire! In addition to serving patients in the office, Dr. Michelle has co-written and co-illustrated 3 childrens books on oral health education, orthodontics and cleft lip and palate.
Dr. Michelle earned her undergraduate degree from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). After gaining her Bachelor in Science degree at UCLA, she attended dental school at University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry (UOP) in San Francisco for her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree where she graduated top of her class! She continued her studies at UOP, gaining her Master of Science in Dentistry and Certificate in Orthodontics at the residency program.
Dr. Michelle loves living in Santa Monica where she spends time at the beach, explores new restaurants, and goes on hikes with her boyfriend. She is also an avid traveler and loves visiting her family in the Czech Republic at least once a year among other countries abroad.

I was hesitant about wearing braces so I kept brushing it off then I turned 26 and was like I NEED to get this sorted before it gets worse. My friend recommended this place since we're both on camera a lot & needless to say my teeth are SO pretty now. The people at this office are so proactive with ensuring quality and I'm SO picky when it comes to my teeth. I didn't have bad teeth to begin with BUT my lower teeth were NOT it. Im on week 16 with Invisalign but I'm convinced this office is the best to do it with.

I had such an amazing experience here. Very friendly staff & very accommodating. They're super flexible and understanding. I really appreciate the ortho here because they genuinely care about your teeth being as aesthetically pleasing as possible. No mid teeth! Also an amazing view while you're here! I also moved to Hawaii for three months and everything still worked out! Definitely recommend.

Dr. Monica Madan and the staff at BHO were absolutely amazing for my Invisalign treatment journey. From the first assessment to the final scans, I couldn't ask for a more thoughtful and insightful team. Where other orthodontists said they couldn't, Dr. Monica could. They always made sure I had what I needed from trays, chewies, rubber bands, and whitening. They are miracle workers and there's no question that they're the best in the business. 10/10 experience.

Did Invisalign here for 3 years and the staff is great and competent as well as the doctors! The treatment was longer than I expected which meant I had to pay extra but other than that my teeth look great and another great thing about them is that they work around your schedule and don't make you come in every 2 weeks so feels like less of a time commitment than other providers.

I had a great experience with Beverly Hills Ortho. I had a tricky case that would have required braces but they worked with my preferences to avoid that and I went the Invisalign route. They offered flexibility in which office I could attend for checkups which worked out well with my work schedule. They also mailed me rubber bands a few times which helped immensely and saved me a few trips to the office. Thanks BHO! I am happy with my new smile.

I've had the BEST experience at Beverly Hills Orthodontics! I always felt taken care of, my questions were answered, and my teeth are FINALLY straight! They found ways to use minimal attachments for me, and overall I felt my concerns were always addressed. I specifically want to shout out Gabriel, Dr. Madan, Dr. Nehi, Dr. Stepenek and Tia for such fantastic and high quality care!

Beware of Dr. Monica Madden and Beverly Hills Orthodontics billing practices. We signed a contract, gave a deposit and when services were not provided Dr. Monica Madden refused to return our deposit. To make matters worse Dr. Monica Madden took one year to respond to our multiple requests for a response only to refuse to return our deposit and to tell us she had been recording our prior phone conversations. Still in shock in how patients are treated this way.
