Dr. Sam Harouni has received a Bachelor of Science degree in Anthropology from UCLA in the year 2009. He also pursued his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree at the University of Southern California (USC). After the completion of his graduation degree, he did a year-long internship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Head & Neck Cancer University of Florida, Jacksonville, followed by his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at Emory University School of Medicine. Before setting up his dental practice, Dr. Sam Harouni invested his time and effort as a volunteer dentist via the dental humanitarian outreach program at the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles. The surgery went pretty smoothly I think. I had 2 wisdom teeth extractions, I was a little nervous it was going to be difficult as one of my teeth was impacted. Took a while to get that one out but apparently it all came out. I was extremely swollen on that side for a week but I healed pretty quickly due to the prp/prf and some other injections they gave me. The doctor was really cool and nice and the staff was great and helpful too.

Has wisdom teeth taken out, virtually no pain until day 3, and I would only take the ibuprofen (400) for sleeping. Otherwise, just some slight discomfort and virtually very little pain

If you're looking for an oral surgeon and staff who will give you the best patient experience pre-, during, and post-surgery, then look no further. I can't give enough praise to Dr. Harouni and staff! I came in with dental anxiety from a past wisdom extraction but Dr. Harouni was able to provide a diagnosis and treatment plan that put a lot of my worries to ease. The procedure went smoothly thanks to the expertise of him and his team, and my recovery even smoother, as I had felt no real pain or discomfort beyond the expected jaw soreness from post-operation. My recovery was so quick even friends with prior extractions (from different surgeons) were jealous how I was basically good to go in less than a week! Seriously consider Dr. Harouni if you value your comfort as a patient!

Dr. Harouni and his staff are not only professional but also make sure you feel comfortable before and after any procedure. One of his staffs, Maggie was very kind and made sure my dad and I understood what was going to happen before and after the procedure. 100% recommend coming here, especially if you are typically a very anxious person :)

Couldn't have gone better! I went in to see Dr. Harouni because I was feeling discomfort due to my upper right wisdom tooth coming in. I was so nervous, as I'm sure anyone would be, but the staff was so comforting, Dr Harouni himself made me feel at ease and went through the process step by step. I had such a good experience getting wisdom teeth extracted with Dr. Harouni. I had virtually no pain and I healed up faster than I had expected. Him and his team were so gentle & kind that I didn't feel the usually anxiety I do getting dental procedures. He even helped me find a general dentist and went over treatment options to treat my TMJ issues. Such a great experience

I was nervous to be extracting all four of my wisdom teeth at once but Dr. Harouni did such an amazing job. The procedure itself was fast and I experienced no pain throughout my whole experience - in fact, I did not even need to take my pain medication after my surgery because it healed very well. The service was great and the doctor was nice - I have no complaints!
