Alla graduated from Pasadena City College in 2012 with a AA degree in Dental Hygiene. As a Registered Dental Hygienist, her focus is to provide quality care for patients and educate them about maintaining good oral health.
Alla continues attending continuing education courses to keep up to date on the latest scientific findings and technologies in the dental hygiene arena. In addition to English, Alla is fluent in Armenian and Russian. She enjoys spending her spare time with her family and friends. She also finds pleasure in gardening.
I accept patients of all ages and they receive state-of-the-art dentistry at reasonable fees. I believe in making superior dental health available for all my patients. There is an intraoral camera in my treatment room to demonstrate teeth with problems. This is a very effective tool in displaying problems and describing treatment.
She continues to take numerous post-graduate courses and is skilled in all phases of dentistry. She is at the cutting edge of cosmetic dentistry and her ability to improve your smile makes her stand apart.
Dr Simonian moved to Pasadena in 1981 and is a graduate of Pasadena High School. He attended the University of Southern California majoring in Biology and Philosophy. He was accepted to the prestigious Dental School of the University of Southern California, which he graduated in 1990 with a degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery. Dr Simonian practiced as a general dentist for 11 years, during which time he held a faculty position at the USC School of Dentistry. He then completed a 3 year full time residency at the Advanced Periodontology Program of the USC School of Dentistry.
In addition to his practice limited to Periodontics and Dental Implants, Dr Simonian is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the USC School of Dentistry's Advanced Periodontology Program, where he is co-director of the surgical seminars.
Dr Simonian has lectured nationally. His scientific articles on dental implants, bone grafting, sinus augmentaion and periodontal disease have been published in several peer-reviewed journals, including: Journal of Periodontology, The International Journal of Oral & Maxillofacial Implants, Journal of the California Denal Association, Clinical Implant Dentistry and Related Research and Journal of the Western Society of Periodontology.
Dr Simonian is an active member of the American Board of Periodontology, American Academy of Periodontology, American Dental Association, California Dental Association and the San Gabriel Valley Dental Society.

Really love going to this wonderful woman. She works hard to craft a specific plan for your mouth. I trust her judgement. She's fair and firm with her advice. This is who you want in a dentist. Never tries to sell you on anything. Just does the job. And by the way does it really well. If you want an experienced and straight forward dentist who will take the time to do and say what's right then this is your dentist. Make that appointment!

Every time I see Dr. Nazarian I feel a complete sense of confidence & immense trust. That in addition to her deft hand & reassuring manner makes me completely relaxed in her care. It is daunting to many to even enter a dentist's office. With her & her staff it's easy & genuine. My wife & daughter have seen her for years & raved high praise. I know what you're expecting, a dentist experience where you walk away in pain and scared to go back again. That is not the case with Dr. Armine Nazarian, who happens to be the best dentist I've ever been to. Dr. Nazarian and her staff are consummate professionals and handle your dental issues with the utmost care. My family and I have been coming here for over 15 years and even though we moved we will continue to make the drive to see Dr. Nazarian. Extremely professional, knowledgeable, caring and friendly staff. I must admit I'm not the easiest patient to treat :) but they have made every visit pleasant and comfortable :) A+++ service !!!!!!!

I recently started visiting Dr Nazarian for regular checkups and what before with other doctors had been the dreaded deep cleanings I require every 3mos. No more dread, no more bad vibes around dentist visits. Her hygienist Ala (spelling?) is a meticulous, gentle master. Like Dr Nazarian, she is kind, full of great advice, efficient and effective. Typically I enjoy my annual cleaning and dental assessment for over 5 years. This time around was even more special and accommodating. Not only do I receive informative guidance on how to prolong my teeth for many years to go (including proper way to floss, brush, and other hygienic practices), I also feel super relaxed and comfortable with the staff as they cater to my comforts and needs as a consumer. Always great advice, never just about the money. Will see you guys in 6 months
