After graduating from Columbia Univesity, Dr Mehr did a surgical based dental residency program at Maimonides Medical Centers Dental and Implant Surgery Division, where he was chosen resident of the year by his attendings and peers.
Dr. Mehr has been a faculty member (at different times) at Columbia University and UCLA School School of Dentistry. He has lectured and held continuing education courses for other dentists throughout the years. Dr. Mehr is a member of American Dental Association (ADA), California Dental Association (CDA), American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), and American Academy of Oral Implantologists (AAOI) .

Dr. Mehr is my go-to whenever I have any issue with my teeth or gums and there have been many. I think he is the most pleasant man in addition to being a Brillant Dentist . Whether it be for a deep cleaning, crown, filling a caverity or chosing the right color shape and size for a veneer, he has always gotten it right first time ! I've never had any problem with any tooth he has fixed.Dr. Merh has been my dentist for 15 years. If you need a dentist who is really patient,solid and knows teeth try Dr.Mehr . His assistant Edgar is also most accommodating and makes your teeth shine after a cleaning and goes the extra step. He also will answer your questions and calls back the same day, Great team . Hats off !

How can you love a visit to the dentist with the drill buzzing and saliva dripping down the side of your mouth? Hard to believe but somehow Dr. Mehr, Cynthia and Edgar all make going to the dentist a pleasant, even enjoyable experience. It's rare to find a doctor who has the technical expertise matched with an excellent, exuberant and caring personality. I guess that's why I wanted to take a moment to acknowledge Dr. Mehr...and give him my highest recommendation. You (and your family) would be lucky to have him as your DDS...he cares about the whole person...not just your month (or pocket book) ...and that is incredibly rare especially in Beverly Hills!
