A native of Memphis, Tennessee, Dr. Victoria Bettis has over 35+ years experience in Dentistry and is committed to helping you create and maintain a beautiful smile for a lifetime. After working on staff in a pedodontic office, Dr. Bettis went to the University of Tennessee Memphis School of Dentistry where she graduated in 1981. In 1983, Dr. Bettis moved to the Tri Cities/Abingdon area where she, her husband of 40+ years and her son still live today. When not at her office, Dr. Bettis is active with the St. Thomas Episcopal Church.
Dr. Bettis is committed to comprehensive dental care, developing a caring partnership to improve lives, confidence and oral health. One of Dr. Bettis favorite parts of her job is getting to know all of her patients and solving their dental needs through communication.
I have over 35+ years of experience as a Registered Dental Assistant, 25+ of them with this practice. One of my goals is to keep our patients comfortable and happy. When not at work, I enjoy being with my family including three grandchildren and a grandson, and volunteering at my church. I also enjoy relaxing at the beach, going to UT ballgames or working in the garden.

The staff is very nice and procedure pricing was fair. Usually ended up waiting a while for scheduled appointments (30 minutes). They're very busy. Routine fillings were rough, not polished, and required multiple adjustments due to onset of pain and discomfort after having them done. At my final adjustment I was given no numbing despite my visible distress when my teeth were touched. She told me to just hang on and continued grinding on my teeth while I whimpered in the chair. Only stopped after I slammed the arm rest in pain. She threw her hands up and said she didn't know what the problem was, and referred me to an endodontist for a root canal. I ended up needing two crowns for the two teeth that were filled due to fractures. My experiences up until this point were fine, so maybe it was a one-off experience but it was enough for me to decide to find a new dentist.

In all my years I have never really had a pleasant experience at the dentist until today. I had a tooth that needed pulling and I wanted to get consultation on upper dentures. The tooth pulling was as painless as could be and their making of my dentures they have gotten down to a smooth oiled machine. The price was sooo reasonable. If you need a great dentist Dr. Bettis is the dentist to see...and NO, no one made mention of any ratings they hope I would make. If they had you would not see my name here!

My 2 kids have been going here for the past year. They absolutely love everyone here! The office staff is great! The dentist and hygienist is great! (They do not pull teeth as most dentist offices I've been too does not! So if you have bad teeth that need to come out SEE A ORAL SURGEON!)

Dr. Bettis is a good dentist, but the clinics time management was very poor. They were an hour behind and after waiting to be seen (I had to make arrangements with work to be there because they have very limited office hours as a starter) they told me they did not have enough time to clean my teeth and so I had to reschedule (another day of rearranging with my job to get my teeth cleaned) So I was there for over an hour to get nothing done but have my time and gas money wasted-It is completely out of my way to get there for me) Absolutely zero consideration of other peoples time, felt as if my time is not as valuable as theirs. The worse part is that they had already pushed back my initial appointment by a month and they were the ones that requested me to come 30 mins earlier on my appointment day last min, I had to make special arrangements to make this happen, then made to feel as if I don't matter definitely was a low blow on a already challenging day

started going here about 2 months ago. best dentist office around. they make you feel welcomed. receptionist is awesome. Dr.Bettis makes you feel comfortable during her job. Clare with cleaning is lovely to be around! will always be a patient.

HORRIBLE, STAY AWAY!!!! My father who is in his 70's, WAS a patient here. This practice will milk you for money instead of fixing the issues at hand in a direct fashion. I am filing a report against this practice to the VA Department of Health Professionals.
