Dr. Urbanawiz is a gentle & caring dentist who believes in providing comfortable, personal care to all of his patients. He received his BBA in business management from Augusta State University & continued his studies at the Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University.
Dr. Urbanawiz is dedicated to providing the highest quality dental care possible & has taken numerous continuing education courses in implant placement & restoration, BOTOX & dermal fillers & cosmetic dentistry, including resin bonding & veneers. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry & American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Outside the office, Dr. Urbanawiz is a volunteer clinical faculty member at the Dental College of Georgia, where he was formerly a full-time faculty member & the course director for esthetic dentistry. He is also a volunteer at his church & enjoys spending time with his wife & three children, playing & recording music, mountain biking, kayaking, rock climbing & cooking.

While cleaning she listen when I told her I was in pain, made it very comfortable and I answered my questions. I'm coming back in 6 months! Update: 6 months later still great staff with a great new provider. Their recommendations for my sensitivity mentioned back in April worked; for this time I had no pain while cleaning!

I highly recommend Bettis Academy Dentistry. I've been there twice now and both times had a great experience. The staff is very friendly, the Doctor was fantastic. Let's be honest, no one likes going to the dentist. However, the team made my experience very pleasant. I was comfortable, even laughing, throughout the entire procedure. If you're looking for a great dentist, this is your place!

The most cheerful staff I've ever met. I was there a little longer than they had hoped before I was in the chair, but it was all good. Things happen. They checked on me & made sure I was informed on what was going on. Easy X-ray protocol, informative talk with dentist, and positive experience with hygienist . It was my first appointment as a new patient , but I will be going here from now on. Totally recommend.

From the moment I walked into the office I felt comfortable. That's a big deal for me because dental offices give me anxiety. The staff was wonderful! They all worked extremely well together. Dr. David was so kind and explained everything to me so that I was able to understand his recommendations for treatment. Very glad I chose to visit Bettis Academy Dental!!

Thank you for the great service today. The doctor and staff are very nice and they did an excellent job. I had 2 teeth pulled out and it was quick and painless . Thank you to the very lady that was holding my hand through out this process.

Everything looked sanitized and ready... Very cordial Staff and Jessica made me feel comfortable... I'm pleased with how Dr. David broke it all down for me. I must have been stuck in the dark ages because this office is so high tech to me... I'm impressed. I absolutely love this place, and everyone there is so freaking nice!! I'm normally very nervous about any type of appointment, it's just who I am lol, but I'm so calm and relaxed going here. From the moment you walk in everyone is very welcoming and nice. They answered all my questions without making me feel silly. Explain what they were doing before and during the cleaning. Took the time to make sure I wasn't in any pain and I was comfortable the whole time. My teeth have never felt better!!! I'm honestly looking forward to my next appointment!
