Davids number one passion in life is his marriage to his beautiful wife, Sarah, and the six children that God has allowed them to bring into the world. Before earning a doctorate at the University of Maryland, Dr. Draper studied Italian and performed improv comedy at BYU. He is known by his patients for having a highly personable and compassionate chairside manner.
When he is not working, Dr. Draper loves playing guitar and cooking. His pumpkin pie is a family legend! (Hint: Graham cracker crust.) Homeschooling his children gives him and his wife a flexible schedule that lets them travel to fun new places and try delicious local eats. They love funny movies, playing soccer, and reading. Dr. Drapers favorite book is The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People.
Dr. John Draper is a family-loving father of five beautiful children, three girls and two little boys. Dr. Draper met the love of his life, Wendy, at age 14! He graduated from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in 2016. Dr. Draper served in the Idaho National Guard and the Army Reserves after signing up when he was 17 years old and completed two tours of duty before finding his true calling in the dental industry. He finds joy in serving the wonderful patients of Better Dental, meeting one need at a time.
Born in Romania and raised in the great state of Ohio, Dr. Flavius Popescu, or Dr. P, learned early on that healthcare is a luxury for many people. Seeing his own parents struggle influenced Dr. P tremendously and drove him to become a dentist. Dr. P carries a deep compassion for those in need and strives to create solutions whenever he can. Dental problems can be a heavy burden on people and his goal is to provide the best care in an efficient manner.
Dr. P earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the Ohio State University College of Dentistry. Prior to serving in North Carolina, he practiced in Florida, both in Naples and Marco Island two great places to live and visit, if you get the chance! Dr. P did not stop his education after graduation. Over the past decade he has attended numerous CE courses on everything from root canals to implants. He has received multiple diplomas and certificates from places such as the MidWest Implant Institute, Naples Institute of Implant Dentistry, the Dawson Academy, and many more. With the rate at which dentistry and technology are advancing there is always something new to learn! Through various dental mission trips, Dr. P has had the privilege of practicing dentistry all over the world, but is equally as proud to serve his community here at home.
Dr. P and his wife have two little girls, Chloe and Eloise. Outside of the office, Dr. P enjoys soccer and biking. He loves discovering new restaurants, buying fresh vegetables at the local markets, and is also an active member of the Romanian Christian Church community.
Dr. Tia Joyce looks forward to providing the highest level of dental care to you and your loved ones. Dr. Joyce is a North Carolina native, born in Charlotte and raised in North Wilkesboro, NC. Dr. Joyce attended Meredith College for undergrad, majoring in chemistry, biology, and psychology, and participated in several clubs and organizations, many of which she was honored to serve in as an executive member. After college, Dr. Joyce took a year off to work in a dental practice and soak in everything she could, with hopes to one day become the best dentist possible. Dr. Joyce attended dental school at UNC School of Dentistry at Chapel Hill, where she fell more and more in love with dentistry everyday.
In her free time, Dr. Joyce enjoys reading, spending time with friends and family, and especially loving on her dog, Gubbs! She is honored to serve you here at Better Dental and is truly looking forward to welcoming you into our Better Dental family.

Where do I start ?The massage chair!! OMG!! if you have not tried it you need to The best hands down!! The staff, Allison Elizabeth ,Tasha ,the mom to be, the lady at the front desk, My Libra sister, and of course DOC!! They are the best! Bright smiling faces everytime you visit. Everyone is very knowledgeable, thanks guys for taking care my daughter and me.

Better Dental is the very very best! For years I've neglected going to anyone for my dental work, having a frightening experience like I did as a child stayed with me throughout all these years. When I relocated to NC , I knew the day was near where I had to do research on finding a dentist I would trust along with having a compassionate staff. Well everyone I found Dr. Nadella and I am very fortunate to have a dentist that understands the fears so many of us have.My journey began a few months ago with Better Dental and I am finally on the road to smiling again. Dr Nadella is AWESOME!!! The entire staff is AMAZING!! They make you feel at home and treat with you compassion and respect !!! I am very happy with Better Dental !!! I highly recommend you use them as your dentist !!! I have seen a lot of dentists and Se Nadella is the best !!!!

What a wonderful first visit! The front staff is extra friendly and prompt, the technician Allison is fantastic and super experienced, and Dr. Patel was so genuine and kind. I had tooth pain that needed attention, and they not only addressed the problem, but took thorough x-rays and did a gentle cleaning all in one visit. I was worried at first that it may be expensive... Because the facility is very nicely furnished and the equipment is high tech (e.g. low radiation x-ray machine,) but the payments were way less than I was thinking, and conveniently split up into manageable installments for me. I immediately transfered my kids here!

I had great experience at Better Dental Cary during my recent visit. The professionalism and friendliness of everyone I came into contact was outstanding.. Dr.Nadella explained what my dental issues are and the plan to resolve them very clearly. During the process of getting same day crown (very impressive!), Dr Nadella made me feel totally comfortable with her amazing bedside manner. I am looking forward to my next visit at this beautiful office with advanced technology and exceptionally talented team.

Went to Better Dental in Cary, NC today and I was impressed with their office, their staff and the service. Dr. Nadella and her team were fantastic and the equipment and office space was clean and well kept. Would recommend.

I have been coming to this office for two years now. Such an incredible practice who really care about getting your teeth clean and healthy. I think the price plans are VERY cost effective when I didn't have insurance.The staff is always nice, the office is beautiful, and not once have they hurt my teeth during cleanings or even for my first filling. I will continue to travel over 30 minutes to come here. It is worth it.

I went in for a cleaning. I had Madeline, again. I want to thank her very much for such a pleasant experience. And, I'm lucky that the office is close enough that I can walk there in 20 minutes.
