Dr. Nourahmed graduated with a bachelors degree in chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She moved to Iowa in 2009 to start dental school at the only dental school in the country that offers programs in all 10 dental specialties at the time. Although at that time she did not know whether she wanted to become a general dentist or a specialist, it was important for her to get the most inclusive dental education. She is now very happy about that decision, as she found that she enjoys all aspects of dentistry! Dr. Nourahmed enjoys doing a wide range of dental procedures and is always looking to learn new advances in dentistry through continuing education. From reconstructing smiles and rebuilding self-confidence, to eliminating dental pain, she really enjoys it all! Dr. Nourahmed joined Bettendorf Dental in 2017 because of its reputation of excellence and exceptional patient care. She believes a good dentist is a skilled dentist that is as focused on the technical outcome as on the patients overall comfort. Skill and compassion should go hand in hand when treating patients. Her philosophy is simple; to strive each day to be the dentist she would choose for herself or her family. When not caring for patients, Dr. Nourahmed spends her time with her husband and their two children. She enjoys traveling, cooking, reading, watching her kids play sports (especially soccer) and going on long bike rides.
Dr. Fosters goal is conservative dentistry, with a focus on preserving tooth structure for longevity. By using patient education to try to control the preventable aspects of dental disease, she strives to give a better long-term prognosis for health & esthetics. She finds a balance of art and science with exposure to many different personalities in dentistry and enjoys helping patients build confidence in their health and smile. Dr. Foster grew up in Rochelle, Illinois and enjoys reading, playing sports, and traveling along with spending time with her son.
With the intent of making our office as home-like and comfortable as possible, we have designed our reception room to look like a living room, with an adjacent coffee bar and childrens area. The treatment rooms, with their bay windows, ceiling mounted television sets, plants, and quilts are designed to feel like a den. Many patients have expressed delight with being able to watch their favorite TV programs while receiving dental care.

Dr. Nourahmed and ALL the staff are very caring, friendly, and competent. They make sure you are comfortable, listen and respond to any questions or concerns, and provide a high standard of care. They have provided wonderful and compassionate dental care to me and my 95 and 97 year old parents.

Everyone is so kind and helpful from the front desk people to Dr Foster and her assistant. I feel very comfortable in there care. I would recommend Bettendorf Dental to anyone looking for a dentist.

Experienced several communication issues with the staff on scheduling which I ignored and continued but this time on an normal annual checkup they miscommunicated with my insurance and did a service out of coverage window and sent me a heavy bill, when I asked they started blaming Insurance. When I followed up with Insurance they showed me that provider ignored their message.

Dr. Nourahmed is thorough, professional and polite. Ms. Susie and Ms. Laurie are phenomenal!!! I even found paying my bill via Ms. Kelly was a pleasant experience. I have been going to Bettendorf Dental for around two years now. They have always done an excellent job with my teeth and are quick to answer questions when I have them. The staff is friendly and welcoming each time I go. Kinsey does a fantastic job cleaning my teeth and is always kind enough to ask how my fur babies are doing. Since I only go twice a year, it's nice to have a staff who remembers details we've discussed in the past - it makes you feel at home. I would highly recommend Bettendorf Dental.

Really love this practice. I have 3 children from ages 9-17, one being special needs and they do a wonderful job taking care of their dental needs. Also can use Nitrous oxide for patients that are very anxious about dental work. Very honest and helpful. Took them to a different dentist before bringing my family to this wonderful establishment, and was told my kids needed about 2,500 in dental work and I'd have to pay most out of pocket. My kids have double insurance so I knew they were not being honest and knew my kids did not have all these issues they said. Brought them to Bettendorf dental and what do you know, most of my kids dental costs were covered. Will be booking myself and my husband next.
