Dr. Srotalina Khanna moved to Maryland with her family at the age of 2. She has been living in Maryland ever since. Dr. Khanna received a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of Maryland Baltimore Campus. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Maryland at Baltimore Dental Surgery Program.
She has been working in private practice her entire career. Dr. Khanna enjoys providing inclusive cosmetic dentistry and family dentistry for all ages. She has completed many continuing education courses in many aspects of dentistry and continues to expand her skillset.
Dr. Khanna specializes in dental surgery to restore the function and appearance of the smile. She works with children and adults so that patients of all ages can get care for their stage of life. Additionally, Dr. Khanna has continued her dental education to deliver modern, state-of-the-art care in her office. She continues to take dental courses to keep up with advances in dentistry. Because Dr. Khanna consistently learns more about the latest dental technology and techniques, she is able to deliver lasting results.

I dreaded going to the dentist until I met Dr. Khanna. She is wonderful- incredibly gentle, walks you through everything she is doing, and makes sure you are all right the whole time. Ive had different hygienists/assistants over the years and they have all been great. Gina at the front desk is also wonderful! Highly recommend.
Dr. Khanna provides excellent and very caring service. Today I called with an unusual problem and she saw me the same day and provided me with a referral to help diagnose the problem. Her very prompt and caring response really helped and I know I can count on her to follow up in any way necessary.
Dr. Khanna is so nice and caring. She called me after my visit to answer my questions (this was after 5 p.m. and shes a mom) and she even consulted with a colleague of hers just out of pure interest in my situation. Small office and hands-on care. I highly recommend.

Great team all around, from the front desk to the hygienists, and Dr. Khanna is very knowledgeable and to me, most importantly, reasonable and supportive of what is best for my oral health without pushing extra services that aren't necessary, which I find at most dentists. I did need caps today and she explained to me and showed my pictures why, which I found helpful and ended up getting them, but I could also see she was going to respect my decision if I didn't want to. I am going to bring my young kids to Bethesda Family Smiles because I trust them.

I was referred to Dr. Khanna by Dr. Son, whose office is right next to hers, after a root canal. I am absolutely terrified of the dentist and even more so with complex procedures. Dr. Khanna is not only excellent in her technique and what she does, but is so incredibly gentle and compassionate. She immediately put me at ease and talked me through each step while also teaching a new dental assistant.

I don't like going to the dentist, but Dr. Khanna and her team are great. The receptionist and nice and helpful, the dental hygenists are great and she is thorough. They are also great with my 9 year old.

It's rare to say but my kids enjoy going to this dentist! Before we switched to Bethesda family smiles it was a chore to get them going for dentist appointments and now it's so easy. Scheduling is a breeze and the office is conveniently located.

Hands down the best dentist experience I've ever had - the most efficient, organized, and friendly office I've ever been in - probably for any medical appointment. Dr Khanna is so warm, accommodating, communicative and professional and I loved her front staff as well. A+++++

Had the best experience here. Haven't been to the dentist in over a decade, and they made it easy as can be. Courteous, respectful, caring. All of the staff are incredible! If you want the best, come here. I can't recommend this place highly enough.

The entire staff was extremely friendly. We arrived about 5 minutes late and they were very understanding. They all were efficient and on time and the office is bright, modern and clean. Love this place and I look forward to going here from now on for my entire family.

Dr. Khanna is very competent and has a gentle manner. She is great with our son. When he was 6, he had to have some baby teeth extracted and she used some very effective techniques for keeping him calm. Her staff is very friendly and accommodating. Our family highly recommends Bethesda Family Smiles.
