Felt very pressured into getting an emergency root canal despite having no pain in my tooth after it cracked. Thankfully got a second opinion and as I suspected a root canal was not advised, only a crown. Dentist wanted to perform root canal then and there with no assistant, very glad I didn't give in to their pressure. Edit: This happened 3 years ago so this may be why the owner can't find my name in their system. Hopefully the practice has changed significantly since.

Their dental work is great! I got my front teeth fixed in a few hrs. The teeth are created in-house and are created and placed within a few hrs. I really like Dr. Zebe. He's one of the best dentists I've ever been to! ~However~...their business processing side of the house is the worst customer service I've ever experienced. It's solely the reason they're getting 1 star, and honestly I'd give them 0 stars if that were possible. They don't follow up when they're supposed to. They don't send documents when they're supposed to. Even their insurance claims don't match or align with what they've charged me. Overall it feels like a shady business after all of the hoops they've made me go through for even a simple receipt. Use this place as your last resort...

I was nothing but complimentary until I needed an implant in April 2021. Before going in to have the crown put in I called and asked them to call my insurance company to find out what was covered, They told me that the crown would be covered by insurance. However, when I got there and after all the prep work was done, I was told that the insurance wouldn't cover any of the crown. I paid over $3,000 for the crown, but when I called the insurance company they told me that they do cover some of it. I haven't been back since. To make this story even more troubling, just today I was eating a salad with apples and the crown broke. Ridiculous!

Not 24/7. They take calls 24/7 but can't schedule an appointment past 3pm. So tired of fake hours on google.

The staff were professional and showed great bed side manners. The dentist knew what he was doing and listened to my concerns, answered my questions, and did exactly what I needed at the time. In addition, he advised me of what I needed in the future.

Warning!! Unethical bait and switch! The most unprofessional dentist I have ever tried. I initially scheduled this dentist on an advertisement for $99 cleaning that "includes full X-rays, exams and cleaning" for which I was qualified to use. When I had my appointment none of their equipment was working for x-rays. They tried in vain for a long period of time before the dentist skipped the x-ray and gave me my cleaning. They attempted to do another x-ray which still didn't work. Then they put me in another room took the x-rays and sent me away without the doctor even looking at the x-rays or talking to me about them. When I went to pay, their machine didn't work so they had to call in my card to another office. Instead of charging me their advertised price of $99 they charged me $675. $132 Comprehensive oral exam $141 Prophylaxis $101 Bitewings-four films $175 Panoramic film $46 Intraoral Periapical First Film $40 Intraoral-Periapical Each $40 Intraoral Periapical Each-Additional film In addition, the office itself is incredibly bare and offers no privacy. The dentist was incredibly sloppy with his equipment and I came home with a wet head and blouse. I would never recommend this incredibly unethical business.

Beware! Stay far away! I saw many of these positive reviews and thought this was a good place to go to. I went in for a regular cleaning and the water machine was not working - I thought to myself, no big deal. Then I realized when the cleaning was "complete" that none of the plaque was removed - I thought to myself, that's strange but I'll give them another chance. They simply used a polisher and said I was done. The dentist then came to me after an X-ray and said I had 4 cavities. I believed her -- turns out later, that none of the cavities showed up on my X-ray but it was "clinically diagnosed". So there I was with 4 new cavity fillings - after a few weeks the pain in my teeth did not go away. I found out they used too much filling. I ended up going back to the dentist 6(!!!) times to get this corrected. Before the 6th time, a part of my cavity filling came out during a regular bite, which resulted in excruciating pain! They had said that my teeth were perfect after the 5th time - little did they know, right? When I came in for the 6th time they asked me to get another X-ray (3 times in total). They used the machine (so radiation occurred) and turns out the machine randomly stopped working - so I did not receive any photos. At this point I was fed up and asked them to email me all previous X-rays so I could find a new dentist. Turns out they lost 1 set of my X-rays! This place is a joke. Please stay far far away. Oh, and my teeth are still in pain even after going back for the 6th time and this all started from a regular check-up! Update 1.3.22 - went to a new dentist and they immediately found that a tooth was nicked which has caused excruciating pain for nearly 2 years.

I am a patient at the Laurel office. I have soft teeth and have been working on implants, so I am a frequent visitor. I love and appreciate the entire office and dental staff. Hats off to Katrina, Tammy, Jamie, Adriana and the entire dental staff for exceptional service. If you want to be taken care, and feel comfortable in the chair, this is the place to go.

Nancy, Iran and doc Vik are awesome. Best service you can get. Nancy went above and beyond to get my insurance figured out. Everyone is just so awesome and friendly. I'll definitely go back!

The group was top notch from start to finish. EVERYONE I engaged with was professional, patient, proficient and kind. I had a broken molar with significant pain. My request for care was prioritized and I was seen right away. My sincere gratitude to Dr. Samad, Dr. Vic, Mahvash and Iran. You all made an anxious experience a calm and pain free event. I highly recommend this practice!

Not sure if this place is trust worth. My friend broke her tooth and not in pain but they keep put emphasis on how painful the teeth are. And offered ridiculous price that I have never heard before. After we insist the price is not affordable they dropped the quote for $5000 less. The doctor didn't come explain anything or procedure that need to take until the quote advisor come to tell us the price and remind him to tell us what happened. I don't feel comfortable to do anything here.

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!! I came here for an emergency dental visit for a toothache when I couldn't reach my dentist and have experienced the most unprofessional medical office. When first there it was quickly determined that I needed a root canal and another procedure was preformed to prepare for it I was to return the next week for the root canal. When I returned someone (not the dentist) attempted to change the treatment plan after the dentist had administered the topical anesthesia (red flag) when she walked away the dentist whispers in my ear that there is no need to change the treatment plan and she was only trying to get me to spend more money because "at this clinic they don't care about the patients they care about the money". The dentist himself told me this so I was rightfully uncomfortable and didn't want to be treated in such a way so I decided to leave but before i did I asked how much I would be refunded since I had pre paid. (Glad I left because when I got a second opinion I was told that if I continued with their proposed changes I would have likely had complications down the line) I was given the number $412.20 for the refund after i had already paid $600 it was written on my treatment plan and was told I would receive it the end of the month (JUNE). I waited patiently and by the second week of July called inquiring where the refund might be (I've now already paid for the procedure at another office). And at first told the refund amount would be $350, drastically less than the agreed and written amount so I even provided the paperwork they gave me and now are trying to say my refund is only 160. I almost lost my tooth due to the reckless money hungry Bethesda Dental Group and now they have stolen my money aswell. Stay away from here at all costs

I've had a pretty turbulent experience as a patient at Bethesda Dental Group. After arriving in the DMV, I had a dental emergency which is how I ended up becoming a patient. While I liked the doctors well enough (and am grateful for the tooth they saved) I'm really tired of being overcharged for dental services. The doctors never seem to be there long and in my two years going there I've seen like four different dentists. I'm also really tired of them recommending root canals for every little tooth issue. I will be going to a new dentist from now on - a situation which has also been made VERY expensive because they are refusing to send over my X-rays. Sigh.

I'm brand new to the area and was really dreading going to a new dentist. I started having wisdom tooth pain and decided that it was time to go. After looking at a few dentists in the area I decided to go to Bethesda Dentist Group due to it being the closest and having good reviews. Going in, I had no idea what to expect but couldn't have been more surprised and pleased. Everyone was so nice and helpful. Everyone made sure that I was comfortable, understood how much everything would cost, helped get my insurance in check, and ultimately gave me a really good cleaning and advice. Long story short, everyone here is super friendly and really good at their jobs! I have found my new dentist!

So thankful for this place! Visiting family from out of town and had my tooth knocked out due to a biking accident. The dentist was able to accommodate all my needs same day.

Bethesda Dental Group is the BEST dental office I've ever been to-from the front office staff to treatment by the medical providers-this office is dedicated to providing patient-centered care. I contacted the office on a Sunday and was given an appointment for the next day. Given my situation, I went in not knowing what to expect. To make a long story short, after a thorough consultation with the cosmetic dentist, the medical team custom designed a BEAUTIFUL bridge for me. The office manager was also extremely helpful, especially in terms of advocating on my behalf with the payer(s) of the service. I highly recommend Bethesda Dental Group and will always be a patient here!
