Dr. Ronaldo Opinga obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the University of Manitoba, School of Dentistry in 2007. After completing dental school in Canada, he moved to California to practice general dentistry and soon found his passion working with kids. Dr. Opinga is a general dentist who limits his practice to children. He has over 12years of experience providing general dentistry for children in over 18 dental offices all overCentral and Northern California.
Dr. Opinga has a very strong passion and love for treating children in their dental needs. His experience, training and love for children enable him to put together an honest and proper treatment plan that is essential in gaining the trust of his patients and their parents.
Dr. Andrew A. Rivamonte is a general dentist who graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 2009 with a doctor of dental surgery degree. He completed a general practice residency at the University of Michigan Hospital, Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Hospital Dentistry where he treated medically compromised and special needs patients.Dr. Rivamonte is an active member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association and Contra Costa Dental Society.
Dr. Pauline Lim was born and raised in the Bay Area, CA. After completing her Bachelors degree in Molecular Cell Biology with an emphasis in cell development at UC Berkeley, she went on to obtain her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. She also completed a general practice residency at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Ann Arbor, MI with dual hospital privileges at the University of Michigan Hospital treating medically complex and compromised patients.
After too many snowy winters in the Midwest, Dr. Lim was ready to come back home to CA, where as a general dentist, she has been practicing general dentistry for adults and children for the past 10 years. With her passion and joy in working with children and adolescents, she now wants to focus on them to emphasize the importance of early prevention and the education of childhood cavities. Her goal is to develop and build positive experiences and behaviors that will lead to good life long oral health practices for each of her patients.
Dr. Raymond Lee was born in Los Angeles and lived across the world in South Korea for much of his early childhood. Later he moved back to Orange County and finally moved up to the Bay for higher education. He went to UC Berkeley where he completed a double major in Integrative Biology and Psychology and later moved onto the UCSF School of Dentistry to finish his dental education.
He has been very involved in the dental community and was active in the American Student Dental Association and the American Dental Education Association. Now he is an active member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. James Lai completed his Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He went on to obtain his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from University of Illinois at Chicago's College of Dentistry in 2007. He has been practicing general dentistry for the past 14 years.
Motivated by upsetting dental memories from his childhood, Dr. Lai sought to focus his career on working with children to create positive dental experiences for them in their young age. He enjoys the opportunity to build trust with his patients and to change their former negative dental impressions into positive ones. His passion for children and dentistry is evident in the compassionate care he provides with each visit. His goal is to provide high quality care and education to his patients, and to empower them with the knowledge to control and maintain their oral health. Drawn by our shared passion to provide high quality care and to serve the underserved, he accepted a position with Bethel Kids Dental in 2020. Outside of dentistry, he enjoys exercising, traveling, and spending time with his family and puppy.
Dr. Swetha Raja was born in India, and began her journey to Dentistry by earning her Bachelors in Dental Surgery from SRIHER, India. Having graduated top of her class, she continued her pursuit to higher education by moving to the United States. She has a Masters in Oral Biology from Louisville School of Dentistry, and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from UCSF.
Having always been passionate about treating children and individuals with special needs, Dr. Raja focused her thesis work on Vitamin A deficiency in Cleft Palate. Preventing dental caries in children is on top of her radar, and she uses every opportunity she gets to educate and motivate her patients in establishing and maintaining a healthy dental regimen.
