Dr. Zarick earned both her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Dental Surgery Degrees from The Ohio State University. The majority of her professional experience comes from being a general dentist in a local group practice. She has also worked on a mobile basis in nursing homes and in elementary schools. Dr. Zarick's most unique dental experience was being a volunteer for the Indian Health Service. She went to Pine Ridge, South Dakota and provided dental services for Lakota tribe people for two weeks.
Dr. Zarick is a member of The American Dental Association, The Ohio Dental Association and The Columbus Dental Society. When not in the office, Dr. Zarick is fond of outdoor activities and youth sports with her family.

After going here for 3 years, I was never told my daughter needed crowns. I changed dentist and got the help she needed

This place is losing its reputation because of the front desk lady (Andrea) . She has an attitude that seriously so annoying .she is so rude, disrespectful and has bad communication with patients .this place needs to hire a new front desk person who knows how to do their job otherwise, no one is going there again.

I have been Dr. Zarick's patient since 2006 (before she opened her own office.) She proved to be an honest and ethical doctor who does not make you get procedures that you do not need. Not a single time she messed up anything while working on my teeth, so I do not know where all the negative feedback comes from. Also, I referred all my relatives to her, and they like her work. No issues whatsoever.

When a dentist has such poor reviews - from so many patients - years apart - you really have to wonder. I'm looking for a new dentist but after reading the google reviews will keep looking. I expect to read one or two negative reviews just based on some negative or individuals with issues but this many? I would be surprised if this office hasn't been reported to the ADA by the things said here. If not, and if this is true to the experience, they should be! SCARY!

Very friendly staff, they didn't make me feel awkward by asking a lot of questions with their hands in my mouth but still acknowledged me. I was in and out fairly quickly and didn't feel rushed or insulted by my lack of daily flossing.

I have given this place a chance for two years now and every visit has been a mistake. I held out because we only see a dentist every six months and I tried very hard to be tolerant and understanding, but honestly every single visit for me and my family has been a disappointment. Today I decided it is finally time for me to move on, but I want to give my input first so you don't end up wasting time here. As a person, Dr. Zarick is very sweet so I have nothing against her bedside manner, but honestly, I don't feel she is super competent in her field of practice. She seems to just give the minimum, which no one wants from a doctor. She didn't know how to handle a tooth problem I had for over six months- she even had to just refer me out because she had no idea how to treat the tooth. Also, in one of her attempts to fix my tooth she actually made it worse which really shouldn't happen. Still, I stuck with her. Then today, the office totally wasted my time today because the secretary did not communicate properly to me. I had to bring my two year old daughter in for a filling which we were aware of due to a dental screening from her school. Knowing she needed a filling already, I specifically asked the secretary if I could come in to have Dr. zarick both examine it AND perform the filling on the same day to save me some time on taking off work. I also clearly stated that she was under 3, and doubled checked to make sure this was something Dr. Zarick would be able to do since I knew some dental offices don't treat Children under 3. She confirmed that Dr Zarick could do it and she booked me for a longer time slot in order for us to get the back to back exam plus filling. I arrived to the appointment, and when I went to see Dr Zarick and asked her about how they deal with fillings for kids, she essentially told me that she does not treat children under 3 and that they didn't even have the equipment (laughing gas) at the office to do so. So then she proceeded to write me a referral to another dental office. I had taken my day off for this appointment to be there for my daughter and it was the biggest waste of time. Now I will have to go to another office and start over with a preliminary exam plus the filling- that's two more days off of work for me! Also, as a side note, the secretary looked like she had just rolled out of bed, dressed somewhat unprofessionally, and with her shirt sloppily revealing her midriff. Basically, when you walk into this office, you honestly feel like everything is mediocre or below. It's not he worst practice I've seen, but definitely not one you would recommend for someone who wants quality and also doesn't want to take potential medical risks!
