Nitrous is a great nap until a very pleasant lady starts probing, sticking and grinding your teeth and gums, lol. Pain free and ready for the cookie season..... Dr Thomas has a nice touch, very little discomfort.

This was my first appointment with Bethany Thomas DDS and I think that how she does the first time visit is wonderful. Her assistant Nora was great with all of my X-rays and Bethany was very understanding of my issues. Would highly recommend this dentist to others

If I could give no stars, I would. I am honestly so surprised at how high the ratings are for Bethany Thomas and her dentistry. I never write bad reviews but am writing this in hopes of saving future patients time, pain, and money!! I had some fillings completed by Dr. Thomas last year. She had told me I had several cavities that needed filled. I was not in any pain at the time but obviously trusted her judgment as she is the professional. I wish I would have done what some of the other people with bad experiences with her did, and got a second opinion. I did not and it caused me so much pain and cost me so much money. I went back after the fillings several times as I was in excruciating pain (taking ibuprofen and Tylenol around the clock). She proceeded to tell me that the pain was normal as my cavities were "bad". I just went to see a new dentist in Knoxville and multiple dentists at the practice looked at my teeth and were truly in disbelief at how poorly she did when "fixing" my teeth. My husband had the exact same experience. She just made everything worse. My new dentist was able to fix them, provide me relief, and my teeth are finally feeling back to normal! If you are looking for a dentist, choose another! I wish I would have. I'm so grateful to have found one who is kind, smart, and competent in dentistry.

Excellent patient care. Everyone is efficient and tries hard to get the procedure correct. Very patient and friendly and professional. Definitely will recommend for excellence. Dr Thomas great dentist and her employees are like a well oiled machine. Constantly explaining every procedure and they give you quote for the part you owe. Highly recommend.

Dr.Thomas and her entire staff were so accommodating and kind. I've had horrible experiences in the past with dentists, so I was hesitant at first. But now I am so excited to have found an actual kind hearted and caring dentist and well, her whole office!!

I made the mistake of coming here for a checkup. I was told I had quite a few cavities despite practicing good oral hygiene. I was also told that I needed a root canal. I had the root canal done by an endodontist that I picked out. It went very well aside from being in a lot of pain the first week or so. I then followed up with my dentist to have the crown placed. Everything went relatively smooth when I received the temporary crown. When I went back for the permanent crown, it didn't fit and so it had to be sent back. When I went back for the permanent crown a second time, that is when I also received the fillings for the cavities. That is also when my overall pleasant experience turned into an absolute nightmare. As far as my oral health is concerned, I wasn't in excruciatingly unbearable pain neither before nor after my root canal and both crown placements. However, that all changed after receiving the fillings for my cavities. The excruciatingly unbearable pain literally wakes me up at night and causes me excruciatingly unbearable pain whenever I eat. I have been taking dual action Advil that is combined with Tylenol every 4-6 hours every single day since the fillings and don't know what to do to make the pain go away permanently. I blew over $2000 on dental work just to end up worse tenfold. I don't have the money to fix this practice's mistake. Also, I have zero history of dental issues other than cavities every once in a blue moon. I have literally NEVER experienced anything like this after having dental work done. I do not recommend this practice to anyone at all whatsoever! Update: It has been three weeks now and things haven't gotten any better! I was actually contacted by the office today (August 11th of 2022 at 9:28 AM because apparently my insurance was declined. I SUCCESSFULLY PAID OUT OF POCKET AND THEY KNEW MY INSURANCE HADN'T KICKED IN YET!! They are completely ignoring me as far as my situation as a result of their mistakes and negligence is concerned. After explaining I paid out of pocket, it literally took the lady a few seconds to realize I was telling the truth. This is completely UNACCEPTABLE!!!

I am usually very fearful of dentists having had a bad experience that scarred me (for life!). I was immediately put at ease by Dr. Thomas's disarming and very skilled dental assistant. The staff is so compassionate, professional and knowledgeable, not to mention accommodating! And forthcoming! I'm actually looking forward to my next appointment. I just moved here from Austin, Tx and I feel so blessed to have found Bethany Thomas for my dentist. I've never had a dental experience where I felt the staff not only cared about what was going on with me, but actually took the time to talk about every single step that would be taken regarding my needs as a patient. Dr. Thomas never once told me what I needed to have done. She took the time to address my fears, as well as, evaluated areas that needed attention and explained them to me in ways I could comprehend. After confirming with me what my anticipated desired outcome was, we came up with a plan of action. Best dental experience ever.
