Maddie is the jack-of-all-trades in our office! From fixing things to decorating, to assisting she can truly do it all. Maddie has worked with Dr. Bowen since she and her husband moved to Fayetteville in 2016. In her spare time, Maddie enjoys projects around the house and taking trips to Branson with her family. Maddie is a proud Fayetteville Police Department wife. She and her husband, Jon, live in Elkins with their three children.
Yessi is an enneagram 7, which Dr. Bowen loves because Yessi brings the fun! Yessi grew up in Rogers and has been in the dental field since 2017. She has worked with Dr. Bowen for most of that time. Yessi has a knack for keeping the office going without letting anyone get too stressed out our patients included. Away from the office, Yessi enjoys spending time with her extended family and supervising while her dad and husband tackle home projects. Yessi and her husband, Erik, have a little boy and live in Lowell.
We lovingly call Whitney our office 'General' because she is the most organized and detail-oriented gal you 've ever met! Cleanings in Whitney 's chair have been referred to as a 'dental spa' on more than one occasion, and she is sure to impress you with her thoroughness and gentle touch. Whitney is an avid golfer and incredibly competitive at any sport don 't bowl with her unless you are prepared to lose. She loves great food and travel, and a yummy cheese plate or a good glass of wine is a surefire way to her heart. Whitney received her dental hygiene degree from JCCC in Overland Park, Kansas, in 2006. She and her husband, Bryan, live in Fayetteville with their two children.
Rachel and Dr. Bowen go way back too long now to let any of you know exactly how long. Rachel has a thick Southern accent and infectious laugh. She can recommend great restaurants in almost any city (at home or abroad), and she can go toe-to-toe on Razorback sports stats with the most diehard of fans. Rachel received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Arkansas in 2009 and her Associate's Degree in Dental Hygiene from UAFS in 2013. Rachel and her husband, Robert, are active members of St. Joseph Catholic Church and live in Fayetteville with their two children and unruly dog.
Dr. B, as she is affectionately known by her patients and co-workers, was born and raised in Jonesboro. She then attended the University of Arkansas as a Bodenhamer Fellow, the University's most prestigious offering for undergraduates. While at the University, Dr. B was active in the Honors College, served in multiple leadership roles within the Greek community, and was a regular volunteer at the Northwest Arkansas Free Health Center (now known as WelcomeHealth). She studied abroad extensively and performed research under Dr. Timothy Kral. Dr. B graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. in biology in 2007.
Dr. B attended the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and graduated with Honors in 2011. During her time in Memphis, she again published research and was a presenter at the 2010 annual meeting of the International Association of Dental Research. She received multiple awards, including designation as the top senior student in Prosthodontics, Operative Dentistry, and Periodontology (Academy of Operative Dentistry Award, the Sidney S. Friedman, Sr. Periodontology Award, the Best-of-the-Best Prosthodontic Award). She also was recognized with the Dr. Winfield Dunn Leadership Award, the Dean's Certificate of Achievement, the American Association of Women Dentists Award, the Certificate of Merit, and was inducted into the Dean Odontological Society.
Dr. B loves forging long-lasting relationships with her patients and their families and is dedicated to continuing the pursuit of excellence for which she is known. She regularly attends continuing education courses aimed at bringing the most up-to-date science and skill to her patients. She studies at the prestigious Kois Center, regularly attends meetings of the Arkansas State Dental Association, American Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. She has also studied with both Children's Hospital of Colorado and Cincinnati Children's Hospital. Dr. B is an Invisalign provider and is certified to provide Botox Cosmetic for both esthetics and TMD/facial pain.
In her free time, Dr. B enjoys spending time with her husband, Landon, her two daughters, Sarah Page and Lucy, and her three 'big kids': Seaghan, John, and Ellen. The Schrock family has two dogs, is active in New Heights Church, and loves spending time outdoors. Dr. B also enjoys barre3, serves as an advisor to the Psi Chapter of Chi Omega, and regularly volunteers with WelcomeHealth and the University of Arkansas Honors College.
