Growing up on the West Coast, Dr. Best dreamed of becoming the best video game player in the world. Sure, he could have dreamed about becoming a magician, or perhaps a lawyer, but nothing compared to being a video game hero. That is, until he discovered exactly why he loved video games so much. The simple truth is, as a kid, video games made him smile. And thats something Dr. Best wanted to do for people for the rest of his life.
So, after graduating Cal State University in Northridge where he received a Bachelor of Science in Biology, he attended dental school at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale. This was the perfect place for Dr. Best who loves the ocean even more than he loves video games. Following his general dental education, he attended MedStar Washington Hospital Center and Childrens National Medical Center in the District of Columbia for his specialty training in orthodontics.
When Dr. Best isnt in the office playing practical jokes on his team or perfecting someones smile, you can find him outside soaking up the sun and playing with his daughter Mia, his son Logan, his best friend (his wife) Valerie, and his rescue pup Bella.

The team at Best Smiles are fun and professional! The light hearted energy from the staff makes what could be a very unfun experience so much better! While they may enjoy what the do and have fun doing it, they also take their work very serious and really strive to do the very best for each and every patient! Martine installed my braces and was sweet and friendly. She worked efficiently to get the job done and checked on me frequently! Dr. Best came in and checked on me too! His fun charismatic energy is so awesome! They were great with the younger patients and with me an adult! Treating us all as individuals with a fun but very caring team culture! I also really appreciated the private bays rather than the assembly line with no privacy that most offices have. Highly recommend!

Best smiles has been an all around amazing experience since my first consultation. Dr. Best and all of his staff have always been so kind and welcoming. Today, I got my braces off. Although I'm in love with the outcome of my teeth, in all honesty I'm sad I won't be visiting for check ups every 6-8 weeks anymore! I highly suggest Dr. Best, the atmosphere in the office makes your journey to a confident smile something fun. Thank you Best Smiles for a great 2 years of service!

I love visiting Dr. Best! He is always happy, has a great sense of humor and is an amazing orthodontist. His staff is always making me laugh and greeting everyone with a smile. Everyone here has such great personalities. Highly recommend- 10/10!!!

Best Smiles Orthodontics, Orange City are really professionals. Their attention and service are unique. The dental assistants are so nice. The orthodontist is a really great person. They have Spanish speakers at the office as well. The whole team is great. Finally I can smile with confidence. They are amazing. My older son is done with having braces and his teeth look amazing. They did a great job. Now, I am taking my younger son as well. They are affordable compared to other orthodontist offices.

From the moment u walked in to the office I felt welcomed and knew this was the right place for my daughter. She was nervous at first but after meeting Dr Best that went away very quickly. HE Is very up front and honest with you, great payment options and the staff is beyond nice and helpful. 19months with my daughter having them on to her getting them off today ,her smile and teeth look amazing. Like perfection Thank you Dr Best and staff for being so amazing with my daughter!
