Growing up on the West Coast, Dr. Best dreamed of becoming the best video game player in the world. Sure, he could have dreamed about becoming a magician, or perhaps a lawyer, but nothing compared to being a video game hero. That is, until he discovered exactly why he loved video games so much. The simple truth is, as a kid, video games made him smile. And thats something Dr. Best wanted to do for people for the rest of his life.
So, after graduating Cal State University in Northridge where he received a Bachelor of Science in Biology, he attended dental school at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale. This was the perfect place for Dr. Best who loves the ocean even more than he loves video games. Following his general dental education, he attended MedStar Washington Hospital Center and Childrens National Medical Center in the District of Columbia for his specialty training in orthodontics.
When Dr. Best isnt in the office playing practical jokes on his team or perfecting someones smile, you can find him outside soaking up the sun and playing with his daughter Mia, his son Logan, his best friend (his wife) Valerie, and his rescue pup Bella.

We came in for our consultation today and right away i was pleasantly surprised buy the kindnesses and attentiveness of the girls in the front ! We had our first exam and xrays with jemma she was an absolute doll and made my daughter super comfortable! Then dr Best came in ! Wow what a nice guy and he gave us so mush of his time !!! Then ashley came in to go over pricing she made everything so easy to understand pricing wise and was just as sweet as everyone else !! The price was extremely affordable and we took advantage of their monthly plan. We expressed yo ashley how difficult our schedule is with my daughters sports and she was able to get her in taht afternoon! I was shocked!! All in all 10/10 !

Wasn't happy with results after. Insisted for longer treatment because didn't think teeth were ready yet, Dr. Best refused.

Dr.Best and all the workers are very sweet and its place that i love to come to. Its a very calm dr's office. Dr.Best is my favorite dr i would say just because he is sweet and honestly a good ortho dr tbh.

Dr. Best and all of the workers at Best Smiles are professional, kind and accommodating. There have been instances I've had to change location, reschedule, or even bring my children in and they have always been so considerate and willing. I'm so lucky I found this place and am so grateful for my amazing results. I'd recommend to everyone!

Highly Recommend! The staff is so welcoming, kind, and knowledgeable! I have been a patient for about 6 months here for braces and anything you need they take care of. They answer any questions and always ask if you are comfortable and feel okay. Martine is especially kind and very good at what she does. She is very patient and caring towards her patients and never makes you feel rushed or a waste of her time. I have never had any issues with any of my braces or adjustments, they have all been done perfectly. Dr. Best lights up a room when he walks in, he is full of sarcastic humor and positive energy! He truly cares about his patients and is passionate about what he does! 10/10 workplace!

This proves Dr. Best and his staff are responsive to the patient and families' needs. Special thanks to Erica who has been very helpful in the resolution of the payment difficulties. All is good! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Previous review on 11/9/2020: Dr. Best and his employees are very nice. However, don't try to make your payments online through 4YOURSERVICE, because they can't get it to work if you have more than one child. I've been trying to have my second son added to my account, and they can't do it. Office workers say Technical Support has to do it. Technical support is not helpful.

Been going here for over 2years and hands down the best customer service and workers ever. They've always made me feel comfortable and helped me overcome my insecurities on my teeth. I love this place and highly recommend.

5 starts is simply not enough! I am 12 months into my program, from day 1 Dr. Best and his staff presented me with all the information I needed to make informed decisions with regards to my treatment. Visits are always a pleasure, expect a very warm and friendly environment, as if visiting an old family friend.

Best place I could've went to for my braces. Everyone was so helpful and nice and I've never had a bad experience while coming here. The staff will always make you feel welcome. Estimated time for my braces was 19 months and that's exactly how long it took till I got them off. 10/10 would recommend this place.
