In 2015, MedicalWest became home to the states first Freestanding Emergency Department (FED) off of Interstate 459 atExit 10 in Hoover. The FED and the hospitals main campus emergency department, combined, see morethan 75,000 visits annually.

The ladies you see on entering the clinic are always friendly and know their jobs well. Dr. Player and his nurse are the best! I have been going to Bessemer Clinic for over 30 years and I believe they do so much better than most similar clinics. Things are not perfect but to expect that is ridiculous.

As a patient...I can hardly ever reach my doctor! There is always a problem when I call to get assistance...either I'm prescribed the wrong medicine or no medicine has been called in
