Dr. Carla Thomas graduated with her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Baylor College of Dentistry and obtained her undergraduate degree from Baylor University. While at Baylor College of Dentistry, Dr. Thomas did research over the 'Development of a Hybrid Scaffold for Enhanced Odontogenic Regeneration.
Shannon joined this practice in 1979 and has enjoyed watching the practice grow. She is amazed at the advances dentistry continues to make every year. When she is not working, her family keeps her busy helping with their ranch and grandchildren.
Kathy began her dental assisting career with this practice in 1988. Kathy finds excitement in learning the new procedures and technologies that have developed in dentistry. She provides patients with compassionate care and is great about educating the patients as well. She spends her spare time enjoying family and is very active in her church.
Nora has over 26 years of experience as a chairside assistant and is a great asset. She has great compassion for the fearful patient - having been one herself in the past. She has three grown children and grandchildren that share her love for the outdoors by camping, fishing, kayaking and shooting skeet.
Judy joined this practice in 1999. She graduated from Tarrant County in Hurst, TX in 1977 and brings over 37 years of hygiene experience to the practice. Judy strives to make every patient feel at ease, special and meet their dental needs. She lives in Burnet with her husband Mike and has two grown sons. Judy's love for family, photography, the outdoors and working with kids at church & school fills her time outside the office.
Lila graduated from Temple College in 2006 and has enjoyed practicing dental hygiene ever since. When not tackling gum disease, she enjoys outdoor activities like Kayaking, gardening, photography, hiking, basically anything involving nature and being with family.

Bertram Dental has always been top notch in every way. Any problems I had with insurance not paying were because of my insurance limitations, not with Bertram Dental. Staff members are friendly, well-informed, helpful and encouraging, good at each job.

I called the office one day last week to try to get something for pain and throbbing in my mouth and they were closed all day, so I called the emergency number given to me over the phone two times throughout the day and I never received a call back. I didn't even receive a call back the next day after they were open. I just wanted something to get me through until my next appointment but I am very disappointed about this and it changed my view of Bertram Dental. I thought it was rude and unprofessional to treat customers like that.

Called refused my dental insurance than claimed no one would accept my insurance. I found plenty of dentist that take it and have taken care of me. At least don't lie just say you dont.

I was sad to see Dr Warden go. I'm also exited for him in the next chapter of his life. He will always hold a special place in my heart not just for the wonderful dentist he is but also the wonderful person he is. The new dentist Dr Thomas is an amazing dentist & awesome person. She makes sure that you are comfortable with what she is doing. I look forward to the years to come. I would give them all a 10 if I could including the office staff & techs.
