My goal is to help all my patients develop long-term dental health by providing the best that dentistry has to offer. This means that my patients will be able to chew well, feel good, be free of pain, and most importantly, have peace of mind in knowing that their mouths are in everlasting good health.
Since graduating from the University of Pennsylvania in 1984, I have been in private practice, first in Connecticut and now here in the Philadelphia suburb of Bala Cynwyd. Combining my love of the sciences, the arts, and people, my practice centers on you. I particularly enjoy creating beautiful smiles and making dentistry enjoyable for one and all.
My quest to always improve my skills and stay on top of the latest techniques in dentistry means taking more than 150 hours of continuing education every year. I am a fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry and the Georgia Dental Association. I have also earned a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. My other memberships include the American Dental Association, Pennsylvania Dental Society, Montgomery-Bucks Dental Society, Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Academy of Periodontology, and Academy of Implantology. I have won awards and was a former instructor in the field of dentistry, and I proudly contribute to my communitys well-being by participating in several organizations.
My wife Mindy and I have two sons, Noah and Myles. In my spare time I love all sports, especially tennis, golf, pickleball, skiing, and fast-pitch softball. I also enjoy photography, travel, great restaurants, barbecuing, and music.
In order to provide the highest level of service, we have selected a team that is not only competent, but unusually warm and friendly. People like this are not easy to find. We are very fortunate to have built such a quality team. Youll notice the difference on your first visit!
Pat has served as our office manager for over 25 years! She is the oldest of 9 siblings and graduated from John W. Hallahan High School in Philadelphia. She loves going down the shore with her sisters, and especially her niece and nephew. Ocean City Boardwalk is the place where you will find her. She loves relaxing at home, streaming the latest from Netflix and Hulu. Do you know a good book? Pat would love to know what you are reading.
Mindy has wanted to be a dental hygienist since she was 12 years old! She is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Dental Hygiene program, where she received not only her RDH degree, but also advanced training in periodontics and expanded functions dental assisting. Over the years, she has continued her training with over 1000 hours of continuing education. Mindy grew up and still lives in a multigenerational family spanning four generations. Her passions besides her two sons, Noah and Myles are great restaurants, cooking recipes, movies, travel, and canasta. She loves to teach her patients how to keep their mouths healthy for a life time and likes to say she is the Physical Therapist for Your Mouth!
Noah has been our technology guru for over 14 years. His job over the years besides learning everything about dental assisting has been keeping our office in the forefront of the latest dental technology. His belief is that through technology, we can better serve our patients. And he is right. We have the latest imaging machines, impression scanners, cameras, and technology to better take care of you. When not working, Noah loves to exercise, cook, spend time with his brother Myles, travel, and critique movies. He loves to ski and play golf and tennis. Do you have a new movie to recommend? Shanice has worked for Berson Dental Health Care for six years, and everyone calls her Neicy. She loves every bit of dental assisting! A graduate of Ridley High School, she continued her education at Delaware County Community College, working toward her associates degree. Her goal is to transfer to Temple and become a dentist. Over the years, Neicy has also taken over 200 hours of dental continuing education. Her favorite part of working in our office is interaction with our patients so they are relaxed in the dental chair. She loves to see their satisfied smiles when we have transformed their mouths into beautiful smiles. Neicy has a huge family and is very close to them. Summertime finds her traveling and camping outdoors. Her goal is to travel around the world and experience other cultures. Neicy tells people Dental health is life because everyone deserves to smile!
Gail has always been drawn to dentistry, perhaps because she encountered many challenges keeping her own teeth healthy from the time she was a child. She began her career as a dental assistant working for the renowned Dr. Nathan Allen Shore in New York City. So passionate about dentistry, she created and taught in the Riverside Business School dental assistant program. Once her three kids were out of the house and grown, she decided the time had come to pursue her desire to become a dental hygienist and went back to college to earn her degree. At hygiene school, Gail received the Proctor and Gamble Award for Patient Education. To this day, nothing gives her more satisfaction than teaching patients how to care for their own teeth. Never hesitate to ask her for some tips to help you care for your own mouth, as that will make her day. Gail has worked with Dr. Evan Berson since 1996 and looks forward to doing so for many more years to come.

I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Mindy Berson at my long overdue appointment. She took incredible care of my teeth and gums, thoroughly answered and explained all of my questions, and took the time to make me feel comfortable. I highly recommend the Berson's and am even looking forward to my next appointment.

I visited Dr. Berson today after having extreme dental pain while on a visit to see my daughter. I live in MD but the pain was so bad that I couldn't wait to see my regular dentist at home. I am so happy to say that I left Dr. Berson's office in NO PAIN after walking in with excruciating pain His entire team was incredibly calming and accommodating. They were upfront about pricing and their number one concern was relieving my pain. I am so grateful that they squeezed me in, even though I was a new patient. The icing on the cake: the doctor called me this evening to ask how I was doing. Even my Maryland dentist of 20+ years has never done that! Highly recommend! Update 4/8/22: I had a second visit at Dr. Bersons dental office today. He and his team were great once again and they treated me very well. Everyone there is so kind. I still highly recommend and will keep traveling from MD to PA for any dental work beyond regular cleaning.

I was referred to Dr. Berson recently by a friend. I have to say that they are just AWESOME!!! Everyone is so caring, so nice and so gentle. It's been only two visits and they have taught me so much about how to take better care of my teeth and answered my questions/concerns in great details. The way they talked made me feel like family, and I knew that they really care! I'm so so glad that I got referred to Dr. Berson's office and now I know my teeth are in good hands!

I just had my teeth cleaned and checked and the experience was as good as it could be under the current circumstance. Every precaution was taken to ensure my safety as well as the safety of the staff. Mindy was well protected as was Dr Berson, who has the most gentle hands. I highly recommend this practice.

Best care I've gotten in 50 years. Consistently on time with conservative care. Highly recommend them to anyone. I went to them from another practice and Mindy (hygienist) found tartar/plaque the prior practice completely missed. My gums have never felt better. COVID visit update. Felt very safe during my visit. They clearly put a lot of thought, effort and money into protocols and equipment for their patients' safety. I never saw any other patients and all the staff were wearing huge amounts of protective gear. Great job.

Dr. Berson and his staff provide professional and friendly service. They go above and beyond what you would expect from a health care provider. One Saturday I was experiencing tooth pain. I left a voice message for Dr. Berson. He called me back within minutes and helped me resolve my discomfort. I highly recommend Berson Dental Health Associates!

Berson Dental Health Care is a great practice. Every time I leave my teeth feel refreshed and cleaned. The hygienist Mindy does a great job of cleaning and Dr. Berson does a great job of checking my teeth after the cleaning.
