I have the very best job in the world and I passionately pursue providing healthy and beautiful smiles to a great array of diverse and exciting patients. My office has been providing annual scholarships to students interested in pursuing careers in health care for the last 16 years. We have also recently become involved with the St. Baldricks Foundation for research of childhood cancer. My office routinely provides pro bono services for those in need, especially for children with cleft palatal deformities. I have supported numerous charities over the years including the American Cancer Society, The Leukemia Society, and the American Red Cross.
I have worked as a dental assistant since 1996 and have worked with Dr. Berryhill since 1999. I enjoy talking with our patients and making them feel at home at every visit. I am a RDA that has worked in the field for over 10 years. I am proud to be a part of Dr. Berryhills back office staff. I am currently a Dental assistant at Dr. Berryhill's office, with aspirations to become a registered dental assistant. I work in the back office as a support team member and make sure that all the diagnostic records are taken. I enjoy working with our patients and being a part of a team that creates beautiful smiles and that adds confidence to our patients.
I coordinate the care of new patients in our office as well as performing several front office tasks. I enjoy establishing new relationships and interacting with new patients and their families. Meeting new people and creating exceptional smiles is my favorite part of my job. Having positive impact on peoples lives by giving them a great smile is the best.
It's best for the orthodontist to see children by age 7 to advise if orthodontic treatment is required and it is the best time for that patient to be treated. The first permanent molars and incisors have usually come in by that time and crossbites, crowding, and other problems can be evaluated. When treatment is begun early, the orthodontist can guide the growth of the jaw and guide incoming permanent teeth. Early treatment can also regulate the width of the upper and lower dental arches, gain space for permanent teeth, avoid the need for permanent tooth extractions, reduce likelihood of impacted permanent teeth, correct thumb-sucking, and eliminate abnormal swallowing or speech problems. In other words, early treatment can simplify later treatment.
Orthodontic treatment can be successful at any age and adults especially appreciate the benefits of a beautiful smile. One of every five patients in orthodontic treatment is over 21. Jaw surgery is more often required for adult orthodontic patients because their jaws are not growing. Adults also may have experienced some breakdown or loss of their teeth and bone that supports the teeth and may require periodontal treatment before, during, and/or after orthodontic treatment. Bone loss can also limit the amount and direction of tooth movement that is advisable. We provide traditional metal braces as well as Invisalign invisible braces.

I had high hopes when I started my treatment, but in the end was very disappointed with my outcome. My top teeth are off centered, and my smile is usually covered up with my hand because I'm embarrassed. If I had it to do over again, I wouldn't have done it at all.

I could say so many great things about his place. What I will say first is coming here changed my life. I didn't know what to expect but the girls in the front and back are great they make you feel comfortable and engage in conversation with you which definitely helps the anxiety of it all. Braces changed my life Dr. Berryhill designed a treatment plan that suited me best with time and patience I walked out with outstanding results still holding up years later. I highly recommend this place for anyone who wants to get their teeth straightened they made braces fun and I'm glad to be a patient of Dr. Berryhill - Armando

Great office wonderful staff.Dr. Berryhill is a great person. What I Loved about my Braces is Dr. Would explain everything that he was gonna do for the visit that day.over all I would do it again. I came to Dr.Barryhill with braces on my teeth from another orthodontist, unsure of what my next step was, and quite timid of having my teeth worked on as I had so many ups and downs and problems with my former orthodontist and his work. Dr.Barryhill and his staff were wonderful from day one and have gone above and beyond to make sure I was happy with how my teeth looked after being unhappy for so long. Their staff is so kind, and was more welcoming in the few short months I spent with them than I had ever experienced in my YEARS with my original orthodontist. I would highly recommend Barryhill Orthodontics to ANYONE without having to think for a second.
