My review is about my consultation appointment with Thomas Phan to discuss the removal of my wisdom teeth. His front desk Gabby and Tiffany and his assistant Melvin were all extremely nice and kind. Everything was great until the oral surgeon ("Dr. Thomas Phan") came into the room to discuss what to do with my wisdom teeth. He started off with saying "the younger the better" when it comes to extracting wisdom teeth. He asked how old I am and i said 28. He began to belittle and blame me for knowing about my wisdom teeth and deciding to wait 10 years to remove them. He continues to repeat "so you knew for 10 years! you knew 10 years you had wisdom teeth and you didn't remove them." He constantly repeats this phrase and this blaming continues through the entire appointment even after I mentioned that my orthodontist never mentioned about my removing my wisdom teeth nor did the other dentists that I have been to before all because I was never in pain. Thomas Phan interrupts me and asks when I got my braces done and I said at 16. He continues to blame and says "see? you even knew WAY before you were 18. So you knew for more than 10 years." So in reality, I spent 70$ for a consultation to sit and be belittled for waiting more than 10 years to take my wisdom teeth out. By the end of the appointment, I share with him that I don't appreciate him putting all that blame on me. He states "it's no ones fault, its not your fault." and apologizes to me BUT soon after I mentioned "so if my orthodontist did not tell me about my wisdom teeth, is it their fault?" Thomas Phan states "no it's not their fault and maybe they did mention it but you were too young to even pay attention." ... So he continues to belittle even after apologizing. I really can't speak for his performance of surgery but they way he speaks to people is so rude, degrading, and not a way any healthcare provider should speak to their patient. As a future medical professional myself, I have worked with other surgeons, doctors, nurses, and physician assistances inter- professionally and I've never met a health provider as discourteous and impolite as this oral surgeon. "Dr. Phan" shows an extreme lack of compassion and empathy for his patients. He is one of the most pretentious, egregious and most undeserving of his medical degree. He's just another "medical professional" lost in their ego of their title.

Aside from the fact that it was really expensive for me to get my bottom two wisdom teeth taken out. The Dr was so attentive and very informative, the desk assistants were so helpful, and the Dr's assistant was super super helpful. Everyone made me feel calm and in safe hands since I was a bit anxious, quick process all I remember is the Dr telling me he put the anesthetic and I said oh yeah im feeling it then I woke up in my couch! Love loved it here!

Around mid-2020, I had a severe toothache in one of my lower molars. I visited my dentist, and she let me know that the only way out was to extract it. I took her advice and got it removed. After that, I had mind-numbing pain for about three weeks. A dry socket developed. When Tylenol and Ibuprofen did not work, I tried Oxycodone, which we had but had not had the reason to consume. It proved utterly ineffective. The only way to go through the pain was to sort of burn that place using clove oil - it is something you will need to use to believe. A few months later, I had pain in a wisdom tooth. I had maxed out my dental insurance and as per my dentist, extracting the wisdom tooth was complex. She suggested that I see Dr. Phan. I visited Dr. Phan around August of 2020. Between taking the appointment and visiting Dr. Phan, my toothache had vanished. He too suggested that I extract the wisdom tooth, but the previous tooth extraction was traumatic, and the fact that I no longer experienced any pain led me to postpone the extraction. The amount he was going to charge seemed very reasonable, though. The pain started again in early 2021. I tried to manage the pain with painkillers hoping that the pain would go away after a few days, but it persisted for quite some time. I got the wisdom tooth extracted by Dr. Phan. Unlike the previous (and my first) extraction, this one went without a hitch. The healing has been fantastic. I took painkillers only for a day or two. The contrast between the two extractions could not be starker. Dr. Phan charged me about $385, about 40% of what my dentist charged me for the previous extraction. I wish Dr. Phan did general dentistry as well. His assistant was very professional as well. I saw a panoramic dental x-ray machine for the first time at Dr. Phan's office. I am not sure whether you should use a panoramic x-ray to extract just one tooth, but it was convenient and fascinating.

I came for wisdom teeth extraction. First appointment was panoramic photo and consultation. Second appointment was for extraction. The surgery went smoothly. Under 20 min, all 3 teeth were out. I timed it. I couldn't believe it. I thought I'd be in there for nearly an hour. I only had local anesthesia. One tooth was in a sleeping position, which Surgeon Phan had to cut into two pieces. The other two wisdom teeth came out clean and in one piece. Afterwards, the assistant showed me the teeth; 4 pieces total. Before leaving, DDS Phan went over procedures to take care of the sites, what to eat and do thoroughly. Surgeon/DDS Phan is fantastic as a surgeon and with his bedside manners! He informed me everything before he acted so I would be aware of what was going on. He answered all my questions and even called to check on me after I arrived home, reminding me to take meds, eat liquid food, and take care of the sites. Before surgery while waiting for anesthesia to kick in, I already watched the post surgery video. But he went an extra step by calling personally, which I really liked. I'd recommend seeing DDS/Surgeon Phan for wisdom teeth extraction. Overall, the management is good. The office called a day before to remind me about the appointment. Office personnel were friendly and helpful. As a patient/customer advocate, always get the itemized receipt and cross check the prices with your dental insurance to make sure everything was charged to the correct amount.

Dr Tran was so good. He explained everything before the extraction of the wisdom tooth and answered all my questions. I didn't have any swelling at all after surgery and even the next day. Bleeding also stopped the same day. Post surgery he also called me to check if I was doing well. Am very happy with the service and would recommend everyone seeking a tooth surgery. Also wanted to thank the nurse as she was so patient. I was holding her hand so tight (I was very scared) but she didn't say a word or pulled off the hand. Thank you so much.

This is the worst dental experience I've ever had in my life! I went to get one wisdom tooth removed. The dentist numbed my mouth and left me for a while. When he came back he told me to raise my hand if I was in pain. I was in so much pain, it didn't even feel like my mouth was numb. I raised my hand to indicate the pain, the DENTIST IGNORED ME and proceeded with the surgery. He said it's just a little pushing and I'll be fine. I KEPT INDICATING I WAS IN PAIN AND HE ONLY STOPPED THE SURGERY WHEN I STARTED CRYING. I would never come here again and I would never recommend this place to anyone.

I told them I didn't want to go under I would've preferred laughing gas. They kept talking about pressure. They maxed out my insurance with a 729 dollar cost for sedition in addition to the cost of getting my 4 wisdom teeth removed. and I still had pay almost 300 dollars out of pocket. I'm still in extreme pain. Worst experience
