Dr. Thomas Berry moved back to Bakersfield after dental school in 1987 with his wife, Mary, who was born and raised in Bakersfield. They have 3 children, all of which have advanced degrees in the health care field. Katie, a doctorate of Occupational Therapy from Creighton University, Michael, a Master degree in Oral Biology(Head and Neck Anatomy) and a Doctor of Dental Surgery all from Creighton University, and Annie, a Masters degree from Georgia State University in Dietetics. Tom enjoys biking, skiing, and playing with his two grandchildren.
Dr. Michael Berry was born and raised in Bakersfield, CA. He married his high school sweetheart and has three beautiful children. He has 20 month old twins named Brock and Heidi. Shortly after they welcomed another daughter to the family, Tessa.
Dr. Michael earned his Bachelor of Science degree at Texas Christian University. He then went on to earn a Master of Science in Oral Biology and Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree at Creighton University School of Dentistry. When Dr. Michael Berry is out of the office, he enjoys spending time with family, golfing, running, barbecuing and watching college football and basketball.

11/03/22 Following up with my previous review. Nothing but high remarks for this wonderful Dental office. The front desk and billing folks are very welcoming. Went in for a cleaning and the hygienist Rebecca did an awesome job. She was friendly and very thorough. She answered my questions about how to use certain floss and gum picks. Left the dental office feeling great. Always a pleasant experience at Dr. Berry's. At Dr. Berry's Dental office you are treated like family. The staff is professional and accommodating. The dental assistants are hard working and engaging. Dr. Berry performs great dental work. Pain free and I've been very happy with his results. Look no further and give this family dentistry a visit.

These people are quickly becoming like a family to me. I suffer from HIGH anxiety and past bad experiences with previous dentists and this team has gone above and beyond to walk me through everything that my procedures entail and make me feel comfortable. There was no hidden cost. I was told up front exactly how much my procedures would cost me. I am still a new patient here but so far, so good. I do recommend this practice and their staff. Wonderful to work with.

I am a nervous patient and have been know to be a crier, due to some bad dental experiences in the past. I have gone through a few dentists in town and I'm so happy I finally found a office with a great dentist that I trust completely AND stellar staff. I feel like everyone there is doing what they can to make the experience as pleasant as possible. Michael Berry is my dentist in the office and is remarkably good, even with the complicated work I needed done.

After having an extremely bad outcome at another dental practice, I was referred to Dr.Thomas Berry. He went above and beyond, to figure out how to correct and fix the mistakes from the previous dentist, while also taking care of the rest of the treatment I needed. He and his staff, also somehow managed to take me from a 10+ to a 0 on the anxiety scale. They really are just the best.

I am extremely appreciative of their care not only with myself but with my 2 year old son. They were very patient and kind. Dr. Michael Berry explained my issues with great detail. I did not feel like a number nor was I pressed financially as I have been with other dentist. Thank you so much for making us feel welcomed and for being so caring. Both doctor and staff are amazing. I wish I would have found them sooner.

I haven't been to the dentist is about 5 years, long overdue I know, but I had a really good experience today. I typically get anxiety when going to the dentist which is difficult for me to handle, but today I was treated by calm professionals that were not judgmental. They took their time to be gentle, and explained every step along the way. I will be returning to complete all of my treatment, and hope to continue to be a client.
