All materials used have good and bad properties and their selection and use must be carefully understood if a long lasting, functional and beautiful result is to be achieved. This website will give you a general understanding of the issues at hand and the techniques available in restorative dentistry today.
When you are selecting a cosmetic/reconstructive dentist, by far the most important factor in your decision is the dentist's skill. But how do you determine a dentist's skill? By looking at the unretouched before and after pictures of his/her patients and by being educated about what to look for. On this site, you can browse through hundreds of before and after pictures of Dr. Berman's patients.
Finding the right dentist is not like shopping for a commodity. You can buy the exact same new car at any number of dealerships, but different dentists will give you very different results. I've been a patient of Dr. Berman's for a couple years now and have had a reasonable amount of work done by him and his team. Both he and his staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. Dr. Berman himself uses modern technology like 3D X-rays to give a high quality evaluation. He is both skilled and consultative in his approach, which generally has led to great outcomes for me so far. I would highly recommend his services to anyone looking for both routine preventative care as well as more significant restorative work. (Bonus Perk: Dr. Berman is a coffee aficionado and owns the coffee shop next door - Pour Richards - which has *amazing* coffee!)

Dr Berman is not just a great dentist..he us also an artist . I was long worried about 2 mobile front teeth and a discolored tooth.. he told me it would be relatively easy to fix with a permanent bridge. And it was. I now have a better bite than I've had in years and I smile full smiles now. AND I will not lose those teeth!! Thank you!!

Dr. Richard Berman of Dental Art and Science is an outstanding dentist. He has restored my broken teeth twice in the past few months. With more than 27-year experience in dental care, the restorations exceeded my expectation. Dr. Berman received his D.M.D. from University of Pennsylvania. He could also do a great job for your dental care if you give him a chance.

Dr. Berman assisted with a temporary implant for my son and was able to match his teeth permanently he also did some cosmetic bonding on me and it looks great! The office staff is wonderful and very helpful with reminders and automated alerts!

I just had my second "pandemic" appointment with Dr Berman. The office is extremely well organized and I was in /out with no waiting. One of the reasons I have been a patient for years is that Dr Berman is scrupulously honest and never does dental work unless it is really required. Both my wife and I had previously been on the receiving end of terrifying and very expensive diagnoses from other practitioners. The office is equipped to do just about anything you could hope for from a dentist without the need for, example, to wait 2 weeks whilst someone else makes a crown. It's done right in the office. I won't be going anywhere else for dental treatment.

This is the best dentist I have ever gone to. Everyone is incredibly professional and caring, always remembering personal aspects of patients lives from previous visits and providing exceptional dental care. I cannot recommend this place enough to prospective patients.
