The dental care that we provide is built on a foundation of faith. Were highly involved in the religious community in Broken Arrow and often connect with our patients on a deeper level by bonding over our connection to our faith. In fact, you may be able to tell this as soon as you get our new patient forms, because we ask all of our patients if theres anything that theyd like us to pray for.
Dr. Sprague and our team at Berkshire Dental Group view what we do every day as not just a job, but a way to passionately serve and care for our community. We take the time to speak with our patients and learn not only whats going on in their lives that could be impacting their oral health, but also if theres any unique needs or concerns that we can help them with. When you visit us, youll feel like youve been folded into our dental family and can always expect a warm welcome.
Many patients avoid visiting their local dental office because they dont feel comfortable. This can be due to dental anxiety or fear, or it could simply be because they dont feel listened to and appreciated as a patient. Our team does everything we possibly can to help our patients feel comfortable, whether theyre overstimulated by the sights and sounds of the dental office, or theyve just had bad past experiences with dentists. We even offer dental sedation to help our patients relax and feel more at-ease during their treatments.
From a young age, Dr. Sprague knew that he wanted to go into healthcare. His childhood dentist had pictures on the walls of various mission trips he participated in over the years, and this memory stuck with him throughout high school. Eventually, he had the opportunity to work as a dental assistant in college. He was able to interact with patients and learn the technical side of the profession. After a few summers, he knew he had found his calling coupling his enjoyment of mission trips and dentistry was the perfect fit.
Dr. Sprague attended the University of Oklahoma and went on to earn his dental degree from the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center. While there, he earned the Outstanding Senior Leadership Award as well as the American Student Dental Association Award of Excellence. Since then, he has rigorously pursued continuing education and has received advanced training focused on cosmetic dentistry, root canal therapy, Invisalign, and dental implant placement and restoration. He is also active in the dental community as a member of the Academy of General Dentistry.
From the beginning of his dental career, Dr. Sprague has dedicated himself to helping people beyond the walls of his dental office, which is why he (along with his wife) has participated in several mission trips over the years. Through them, he has donated hundreds of thousands of dollars in dental services to people who normally would not have access to basic care. He also uses these trips as an opportunity to share his love of Christ with others. Locally, he volunteers with Eastern Oklahoma Donated Dental Services.
When hes not at work, Dr. Sprague enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching sports, playing golf, and exercising. He and his wife, Lindsey, have two wonderful children, and they are active members at Cornerstone Church.
Dr. Dylan Droege has a simple goal with each patient, and that is to help them smile. Whether he enhances their teeth to boost their confidence, gets them out of pain, or just tells a joke, as long as he sees a smile, he considers it a success! He is also passionate about providing a safe and comfortable environment for people who experience dental anxiety so they can get the care they need without stress. Before you meet him in person, you can learn a little more about Dr. Droege below.
When he was in the seventh grade, a dentist came to Dr. Droeges school for career day, and he broke down his job using one line that has stuck with him ever since: I help people smile! His interest and love for dentistry started that day, and he still has the same passion for helping people like he did all those years ago.
Before going to dental school, Dr. Droege worked as a dental assistant and dental technician to gain more experience in the field. He ultimately earned his dental degree from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. Since then, he has obtained certifications in Invisalign and laser dentistry, plus he completed additional trainings on providing root canal therapy and tooth extractions.
Originally from Longview, TX, Dr. Droege is married to Shelby, a native Oklahoman that has helped his new state feel like home over the past 10 years. They have two long-hair dachshunds, Rosie and Zenzi, that love causing all sorts of trouble and keeping them on their toes. When he isnt relaxing on the couch with his wife and the dogs, Dr. Droege also enjoys running, playing tennis, and reading.
