Berkeley Smiles cares for families and patients of all ages. Dr. Manpreet Sidhu and her skilled, caring team manage many dental treatments including implant restorations, cosmetic dentistry, and Invisalign.
Dr. Manpreet Sidhu was born and raised in India. She earned her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry Degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, Boston, MA. During her studies at Tufts University, she received a Merit scholarship for high academic performance.
Dr. Sidhu practiced dentistry in Massachusetts before moving to California. Her belief is, To treat a patient the way I would like to be treated when I visit my doctor. This leads her to provide treatment where excellent care and compassion are combined with her strong commitment to provide the finest in dental care. She enjoys working with patients of all age groups.
Dr. Sidhu is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), California Dental Association (CDA), the Berkeley Dental Society, the Spear Study Club, and the International Dental Implant Association (IDIA). She lives in Dublin with her husband and two sons. She looks forward to serving people to maintain and improve their dental health with personal individualized attention.
I graduated from Diablo Valley College in Pleasant Hill, CA at the top of my class, earning the award for outstanding dental hygiene graduate. My favorite part of being a dental hygienist is educating and empowering my patients about their oral health. I also love the relationships being a hygienist allows me to build. I am proud to be a Bay Area native and was raised on a sailboat in Alameda. When Im not in the office I like to express my creative side by working on my home dcor, crafting, and building my vintage fashion wardrobe.
Cherolyn has been working at the practice for 34 years. She first began working with practice in 1983 as Dental Assistant and has made her way up to office Manager. She has a remarkable memory for patients scheduling preferences and loves meeting and talking with our patients to help make them feel comfortable.
Dental Assisting has been a very satisfying and rewarding career. I feel very fortunate to be part of the Berkeley Smiles team and I look forward to meeting and getting to know all the wonderful patients!
