Berkeley Smiles cares for families and patients of all ages. Dr. Manpreet Sidhu and her skilled, caring team manage many dental treatments including implant restorations, cosmetic dentistry, and Invisalign.
Dr. Manpreet Sidhu was born and raised in India. She earned her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry Degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, Boston, MA. During her studies at Tufts University, she received a Merit scholarship for high academic performance.
Dr. Sidhu practiced dentistry in Massachusetts before moving to California. Her belief is, To treat a patient the way I would like to be treated when I visit my doctor. This leads her to provide treatment where excellent care and compassion are combined with her strong commitment to provide the finest in dental care. She enjoys working with patients of all age groups.
Dr. Sidhu is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), California Dental Association (CDA), the Berkeley Dental Society, the Spear Study Club, and the International Dental Implant Association (IDIA). She lives in Dublin with her husband and two sons. She looks forward to serving people to maintain and improve their dental health with personal individualized attention.
I graduated from Diablo Valley College in Pleasant Hill, CA at the top of my class, earning the award for outstanding dental hygiene graduate. My favorite part of being a dental hygienist is educating and empowering my patients about their oral health. I also love the relationships being a hygienist allows me to build. I am proud to be a Bay Area native and was raised on a sailboat in Alameda. When Im not in the office I like to express my creative side by working on my home dcor, crafting, and building my vintage fashion wardrobe.
Cherolyn has been working at the practice for 34 years. She first began working with practice in 1983 as Dental Assistant and has made her way up to office Manager. She has a remarkable memory for patients scheduling preferences and loves meeting and talking with our patients to help make them feel comfortable.
Dental Assisting has been a very satisfying and rewarding career. I feel very fortunate to be part of the Berkeley Smiles team and I look forward to meeting and getting to know all the wonderful patients!

I have loved this dental office for my whole adult lifetime. Two previous dentists have come and gone, and now the presiding dentist is Manpreet Sidhu, who was selected by Dr. Olesen from before. Dr. Sidhu is kind, efficient, knowledgeable, helpful, friendly--everything you look for in a dentist. Cherolyn is still the wonderful receptionist/assistant. I recently had a cleaning with the present very efficient hygienist, Stacey, who has an array of formidable tools which are as challenging to the patient's equilibrium as a tooth-filling procedure! However, I emerged with very clean teeth and do not have to undergo another such cleaning for another six months.

Easy to find. Parking available on the premises! Felt like part of the family as soon as I walked into the office. The front desk receptionist was friendly, personable, and professional. I was very Impressed with the office being safe having hand sanitizer was available. Stacy, my hygienist is awesome. She is efficient professional, and thorough! Dr. Sidhu, is also professional, warm, and extremely compassionate and honest. Especially liked how Dr. Sidhu took the time to explained my X-ray in layman's terms. I am very happy to be a patient at Berkeley Smiles! I forgot to mention the office has state of the art dental equipment .

Dr Sidhu runs a very professional office where everyone is friendly and competent at their task. Dr. Sidhu is the best dentist I've ever had. She is an artist at what she does, and uses state of the art equipment so your assured the best possible outcome. The hygienist is also great at what she does, and you will walk out the door with your teeth in shipshape. Dr Manpreet Sidhu is a female for your personal edification.

I felt all precautions were taken regarding our current pandemic concerns. The appointment went well and the Hygienist was thorough and professional. Dr. Sidhu came in to do a final check and it also went well, leaving me with complete confidence about her concern for my oral health.
