Excellent, friendly and professional--both Dr. Truta and wonderful staff (Susie). Highly recommended for superb dental care! We transferred from our former dentist who had no patient communication skills and always "upsold additional expensive treatments. That is not the case here with Dr. Truta--you get what you need, you are told the truth, and there is a warm atmosphere.

Dr. Truta and her staff were courteous and kind. She was very good at explaining how she would deal with the two cavities which she found and how we will monitor in the future to catch any other issues as soon as possible. She was very personable and took her time to make sure I was comfortable with the procedure. You are in good hands with Dr. Truta and I highly recommend her.

Dr. Truta and her staff were courteous and kind. She was very good at explaining how she would deal with the two cavities which she found and how we will monitor in the future to catch any other issues as soon as possible. This dental office has great staff and excellent customer service. From the minute I walked in, everyone was friendly and helpful. Dr. Truta was very knowledgeable , explained everything very clearly, use a photo camera to show me my problems and answered all my questions. Payment and explanation of the cost was very clear. I highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a dentist in Berkeley

I was terrified of the dentist due to a bad experience. When I found Dr Truta, that was my lucky day! She is very kind and also a perfectionist! She gave me a painless injection. She used laughing gas to ease my fears and I had the best dental experience ever. The staff members were all friendly and reassuring, so I'm feeling less stressed about my next appointment. Thank you for a great service.

I actively recommend this dentist to my friends. The doctor is friendly and was even involved in an ordinary cleaning. The staff is friendly and is good at making everything easy. When I needed a procedure done, they made it work even though, due to my fault, I provided almost no notice that my dental was right about to expire.

By far the best dental experience I've ever had. Dr. Truta and the entire Berkeley Smile support staff = unmatched. I had several cavities that my previous dentist left unattended that absolutely needed to be taken care of. Dr. Truta explained her treatment plan step by step and was so gentle and professional. After a lifetime of being faced with subpar dentistry, I'm SO glad to have found Dr. Truta and the Berkeley Smile team.

Dr. Truta and her staff make coming to see the dentist an enjoyable experience. (I never thought I'd feel that way since I am a wimp when it comes to dentistry.) She is very experienced and knowledgeable, kind and generous with her time. Her staff keeps everyone on task with preventative maintenance/cleaning visits. I appreciate them all so much and have referred many friends to her office.

Dr Truta noticed a need for a crown. Showed me the pictures of the crack in the tooth..all digital. The procedure was painless, did not take long, and a good result. Also, new XRay equipment, with much less radiation.

What a great place to get your teeth checked! Very good communication by the staff and quick on getting me in and out. The hygienist Cynthia did an excellent job scraping off my plaque which unfortunately I develop a lot. The last time I went to a different dental office and afterwards I could still feel some plaque in between my teeth when I floss. Not here! Clean as a whistle. Dr. Truta was super nice and I thought she did a thorough inspection on my teeth. She gave recommendations on the future work that needs to be done and it felt genuine and trustworthy. Will be scheduling a follow up appointment soon! ============= Follow up review: 3/13/19 I just recently returned to see Dr. Truta for a filling. Before the procedure she used a camera to take a zoomed in picture of the affected tooth which definitely needed to be fixed. Amazingly, I did not need any anesthetic and had no pain or discomfort whatsoever. It was a breeze! I'm very impressed that she perfectly matched the color of the filling with my tooth. Even zoomed in with the after photo, you absolutely can not even tell. I did not expect it to be so well hidden in plain sight. I was her last patient for the day and she was closing up shop. During that time I did not feel rushed to get me out of the door. We shared conversation about travel and family. Dr. Truta is such a sweet lady!
